Good News Finally: Chiefs and Jamaal Charles Agree to Extension
In a week filled with articles about how the team will prepare with Cassel most likely out, we've got some good news. The Kansas City Chiefs and Jamaal Charles agreed to a five-year extension worth up to 32.5 million dollars. With only 13.5 million dollars guaranteed. ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first one to report this story.
Steal of the season? Charles is currently the third leading rusher in the NFL, but has about 60 less carries then the top seven and averages a ridiculous 6.2 yards a carry. He's one of the best running backs in the NFL and one of the best players on the team so you know the franchise and the fan base are both breathing their collective sighs of relief.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This new regime is doing things much better then the last in my opinion. Before with King Carl it was a long drawn out battle that would go into the next season and training camp to get resolved. They've already locked up Johnson and Charles early with good value deals for both sides. Now all we need to do is extend Hali, who wants to retire a Chief, and Carr and we're going to be pretty set for quite a while at key positions. Well until next season rolls around.
Congratulations to the Chiefs and Jamaal Charles. A playmaker stays with the franchise and the fans fill up the seats to see him, and can now buy jerseys without worrying if he'll be on the team next season. I think its good value especially with the wear and tear running backs get. But if we continue with a duel-back set throughout Charles career, he could last through his 30s especially if the passing game begins to pick up. I don't about you all but I'm happy, this was the best news I've heard all week. So lets go out there and beat them Chargers!!!!!
