Brodie Croyle Gives the Kansas City Chiefs a Chance To Win vs San Diego Chargers
Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Brodie Croyle doesn't have to play Superman for the Chiefs to walk out of San Diego with a win on Sunday,
Croyle will most likely be pressed into action for this weekend's huge AFC West contest since starting quarterback Matt Cassel is unlikely to play after his appendectomy on Wednesday.
Croyle is best known for his role in this movie, alright so maybe that wasn't him but Chiefs fans are wishing it was.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There is no doubt that Croyle has a strong arm, but he has not been to able to stay on the field long enough to realize his potential.
Croyle suffered through numerous injuries in 2007 and 2008—as he finished the latter season on IR.
Luckily for the Chiefs, Croyle is in a much better position to succeed than he was in previous years with the team, and there should be no need for pregame protective wrap this year with the Kansas City offensive line playing the way it has this season.
The Chiefs have allowed just 17 sacks this season, third fewest in the league, and the drops that plagued Kansas City in past seasons have all but disappeared this year.
The Chiefs league-best rushing attack should take on a large chunk of the load against the Chargers, whom Kansas City beat in Week 1 despite just 68 yards passing from Cassel.
Kansas City has been winning games this season based on their ability to gain yards on the ground and protect the football. Cassel has thrown just four interceptions this season, and for the Chiefs to win on Sunday, Croyle will have to limit his turnovers as well.
Special teams played a big role in the two teams first meeting, with Dexter McCluster taking a punt 94-yards for a touchdown at Arrowhead. The Chiefs special teams has fallen off since the season opener, but Sunday may be an opportunity to give the unit the spark it needs.
The Chiefs defense played well last week while limiting Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton to just 9-of-28 passing and 117 yards, as the Kansas City secondary had one of their best games of the season.
Kansas City needs more strong play from their young defense this weekend to give Croyle and the Chiefs offense a chance to move to 9-4 on the year.
If the Chiefs can get their running game going early against the Chargers it will give Croyle an opportunity to throw the ball down the field on play-action plays. Croyle should benefit from rookie receiving threats like tight end Tony Moeaki and slot receiver Dexter McCluster, two players who should make No. 12's job easier on Sunday.
Dwayne Bowe should be hungry after seeing his touchdown streak end at seven straight games while being held without a catch against the Broncos last week. Bowe will need to play a big role for the Chiefs air attack if Croyle is to have a successful day.
With a win against San Diego, the Chiefs can all but clinch the AFC West crown and while Cassel's surgery came at a terrible time, there would be no better time than Sunday for Croyle to get his first NFL win.
