Who Tennessee Titans Fans Should Root For in Week 14
With the 2010 season playoff hopes officially dead after last night's loss, the Tennessee Titans need to look toward next year.
Part of that is what draft pick they will have. A higher draft pick may land Andrew Luck or Jake Locker, but worst case scenario is Ryan Mallet. That is IF the Titans decide to give up on Vince Young.
So who should Titans fans be rooting for this weekend? Here is a breakdown of who Titans' fans should root for in each game of Week 14.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cleveland (5-7) at Buffalo(2-10) - The chances of Buffalo winning three of their final four games including a game at the Jets and a game against the Patriots is slim. Cleveland also could drop a couple more with the Ravens and the Steelers to end the season.
Root for: Cleveland
Green Bay (8-4) at Detroit (2-10) - This one isn't as hard. The Titans could technically still tie the Packers, but its unlikely they lose all of their last games. Though the odds are not in the favor of the Lions to win out, it is possible.
Root for: Detroit
New York Giants (8-4) at Minnesota (5-7) - With the head-to-head matchup, the Titans would be ahead of the Giants if they tie at the end of the season, but that is unlikely. The Vikings need to have a better record than the Titans at the end of the season.
Root for: Minnesota
Cincinnati (2-10) at Pittsburgh (9-3) - There is no chance of the Titans catching up to Pittsburgh, but there is a chance of the Bengals catching up to the Titans.
Root for: Cincinnati
Oakland (6-6) at Jacksonville (7-5) - This is a tough one. Both teams are ahead of the Titans for now, but a loss allows a window for the Titans to end up catching up to them. Either way will work out but since I have to pick one.
Root for: Oakland
Atlanta (10-2) at Carolina (1-11) - Though this game is almost a guarantee and the chances of Carolina running the table are slim to none, there is still a slight chance for Carolina to pass the Titans in standings.
Root for: Carolina
Tampa Bay (7-5) at Washington (5-7) - The Redskins will be ahead of the Titans by a game and a half if they win this week. Tampa Bay looks like they will win at least one more game, but its not guaranteed and the Titans could still pass them.
Root for: Washington
St. Louis (6-6) at New Orleans (9-3) - The Saints have no chance of falling behind the Titans, but the Rams do. It's nice to see the Rams finally doing well.
Root for: St. Louis
Seattle (6-6) at San Francisco (4-8) - Another tough call because in the end the Titans would like to be behind both teams. If the Titans lose out, they will definitely be behind the Seahawks, but not the 49ers.
Root for: San Francisco
New England (10-2) at Chicago (9-3) - Neither of these teams has a chance to fall behind the Titans this year. However Buffalo has to play new England on the last game of the year, so if New England wins there is a chance they pull their starters.
Root for: New England
Miami (6-6) at New York Jets (9-3) - Both teams are ahead of the Titans right now, but space needs to be made between the Dolphins and the Titans.
Root for: Miami
Denver (3-9) at Arizona (3-9) - Either one of these teams can win and it will be a good thing. Denver however will definitely be ahead of the Titans if they tie with them. Best case scenario Denver wins against two of its last three teams instead.
Root for: Arizona
Kansas City (8-4) at San Diego (6-6) - At this point the Titans play the Chiefs later in the season and if they lose there, there is no way the Chiefs fall behind the Titans in standings.
Root for: San Diego
Philadelphia (8-4) at Dallas (4-8) - The Eagles can be guaranteed a higher standing than the Titans with one more win, but Dallas can be tied with one more win.
Root for: Dallas
Baltimore (8-4) at Houston (5-7) - It will be hard to root for a team in the AFC South, but chances are the Ravens win at least one more game this year.
Root for: Houston
Hopefully this all works out for Titans fans, giving the Titans the highest possible draft pick. And who knows maybe with a little trading Andrew Luck could be the starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.
