Koko B. Ware Is a WWE Hall of Famer, But These Guys Aren't?
It's that time of year again. The Road to WrestleMania is upon us. That means some legends in the wrestling world will be inducted into the 2011 Hall of Fame. I've been having an issue turning this into a slideshow with videos, so I'll just make this a normal article. Apologies in advance.
My goal is to name some people who aren't in the WWE Hall of Fame, but deserve to be in. I've decided to not list WCW wrestlers because I'm under the impression they may get inducted this year since WM is being held in Georgia.
I also am not including current TNA wrestlers (i.e. Kurt Angle, Mick Foley) since some of them will ultimately be in.

Reigns' Air Jordans Release Date
And, to the Koko B. Ware lovers out there, this isn't a hate-filled diatribe against him. But, let's be serious. He's a Hall of Famer? That's like putting Shawon Dunston in Cooperstown. Or Alvin Harper into Canton. It just doesn't make sense. In no particular order, I would like to present some WWE legends who should be Hall of Famers.
Owen Hart
Yeah, he may get the sympathy vote. Regardless of that, the man was a technician in the ring and a very funny guy outside of it. A former King of the Ring, Intercontinental Champ, European Champ and four-time Tag Team Champion. His Slammy Award speeches deserve Hall of Fame consideration on its own. Truly a great wrestler, and much better than Koko B. Ware.
Yokozuna
A two-time World Champion. Royal Rumble winner. As big as he was, I always thought he was pretty graceful for his size. He entered the WWE and turned things on its side. A very, very dominant big man. The World Title reigns are more than Koko accomplished.
Ron Simmons
He has been known as the first black Heavyweight Champion. He was in a dominant team with Butch Reed called Doom. He now is known as someone who spouts out the word, “DAMN.” This guy, back in the 90’s, was as good as there was. A very intimidating presence. A bad ass. Forget being a former world champion, his tag accomplishments with JBL should put him in the HOF over Koko.
Randy Savage
I know there’s some behind the scenes garbage between Vince and Macho Man. His match with Ricky Steamboat at WrestleMania III should almost merit an automatic induction. A combined six-time World Champion who isn’t in the Hall of Fame is a travesty. Other than Hulk Hogan, who was really a more mainstream wrestler in the 80’s than Savage? I can’t think of one. I know Koko wasn’t.
Sid Vicious
OK, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a huge Sid fan. I wanted him to kill Hogan back in the day. But, let’s put that aside and look at his accomplishments. A two-time WWE Champion, Sid was quite possibly the most intimidating man in the history of wrestling. His size and emotional instability could send chills down your spine. Koko brought a parrot to the ring.
There are tons of others who deserve to be immortalized in the WWE Hall of Fame. Bruno Sammartino. Lou Thesz. The Rock. Who else should be in? Bleacher Bums, have at it!
