Moment Of Truth: Who Actually Deserves The TNA World Title?

The Jonathan CooneyyDec 10, 2010

Jeff Hardy is TNA's current World Champion.

Over the past couple of weeks, he has been surrounded in tons of controversy and loads of harsh words coming his direction, after recording a video bashing CM Punk while appearing to be under the influence.

Jeff pretty much claimed that he made CM Punk the wrestler Punk is today and that could not be any further from the truth.

This article is not based on Hardy's downfall. It is based on the heart and soul of TNA, the World Title. The fact is that Jeff needs to drop the belt.

It is not right for a person who is continuously in trouble with the police and an alleged drug addict, to hold TNA's top prize.

Let's have a look through TNA's top guys and see who would be a deserving champion.

Matt Morgan

The latest No. 1 contender has impressed many with his newly-found attitude and sportsmanship, after standing up to Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff weeks ago about them wanting Anderson to wrestler while he had a serious head injury and should of been ruled out.

Matt Morgan has really helped TNA out in the past and has shined in feuds against the likes of Hernandez and Abyss.

Morgan would never have got the chance to challenge Hardy if it was not for Anderson's sudden injury, but I just hope he has carved the way for a future chance with the way he has work as of late; Morgan has shocked me.

TNA has done a lot of work with the Carbon Footprint, as he is not the same athlete WWE released years ago.

Mr. Anderson

If there is any athlete in TNA going to take the title of Jeff, this guy has to be the favorite.

When TNA signed him, I was excited. I knew TNA would use him far better then WWE ever did and I was not disappointed.

Anderson has been very funny and has really upped his game since signing up with the promotion and has had very intense feuds with the likes of Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, The Pope and a couple of more big names.

Mr Anderson is very popular with the crowd, but has he a big enough name for Bischoff to give him the title?

We all know the way he runs things. (*sigh*)

Jeff Jarrett

Double J is currently collecting the most heat in TNA and, with his backstage "pull," it would be very interesting to see would he have the title back on his shoulder.

Jarrett is currently in a feud with Samoa Joe. Well, it is not really a feud. It is just a matter of witnessing Joe getting buried.

Kurt Angle is back in action after his short break and it will be interesting to see how both men get on now.

We all know the history between these veterans and a feud with these two men involved is always a nice gift, as we get to witness some top promo's and convincing matches.

Samoa Joe

The Samoan Submission Machine is in need of some urgent help. With his feud against Jeff Jarrett and with Kurt Angle back on the scene, things may start to look up for the former X Division and World Champion.

Ever since Joe suffered with that horrid abduction plot, things have not being going too well for him.

He has been very badly used for about a year now, if not even longer, and the at one stage Joe getting a shot at a title would be for certain.

Now, it is highly doubtful he will even have a promo or backstage skit with Hardy.

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy have proved for TNA in the past that they can work well together and we would be shocked if we never seen these two former WWE stars battle it out one more time.

My hopes and dreams are that Joe and Angle join together to eliminate Jarrett and then Samoa Joe vs. Hardy vs. Angle. As long as Hardy does not win, I will be 100 percent happy.

Kurt Angle is, without doubt, a big enough name for Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan to consider a champion. After all, he is an Olympic World Medalist.

AJ Styles

AJ is TNA's best worker!

He has consistency, passion, brilliant in-ring skills, the history and perfect theme music!

When you have all this, then why are you stuck as one of Ric Flair's puppets?

Styles has everything what it takes to be the face of the WWE in my mind, so why are TNA not using him?
