Brett Favre's Streak in Doubt As Part of Fantasy NFL's Week 14 Fallers
Brett Favre of the Minnesota Vikings and Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys both suffered devastating injuries in Week 13. Bryant will miss the remainder of the season. Favre’s consecutive start streak is officially in doubt with a sprained shoulder.
Pierre Thomas finally makes his long awaited return but somehow ends up on the falling list?
Which other important fantasy factors are injured heading into Week 14?
Who could be your potential downfall in the fantasy playoffs?
Todd Heap, Baltimore Ravens TE
1 of 12
Todd Heap was being utilized more each week in the Ravens offense. He was becoming somewhat fantasy reliable. He has five touchdowns and 546 yards on 37 receptions so far this season.
He will miss Week 14 after pulling up lame with a hamstring injury in the first quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 13.
Heap has been notoriously injured in recent years so this had to be expected at some point.

Kellen Winslow, TB: three receptions, 26 yards.
Heath Miller, PIT: Doubtful Week 14 (concussion) vs. Cincinnati Bengals.
Jason Witten, DAL: Suffered ankle injury, expected to start Week 14 vs. Philadelphia Eagles.
Pierre Thomas, New Orleans Saints RB
4 of 12
One of the biggest fantasy busts is finally slated to return in Week 14 against the St. Louis Rams from an ankle injury.
Why then is he on the falling list?
Rookie Christopher Ivory has scored all five of his rushing touchdowns in the past three games. He has been so effective that Sean Payton may continue to use him as the Saints leading rusher. In order to prevent more wear and tear on Thomas heading into the playoffs, Ivory will most likely retain goal line duties even if Thomas receives the majority of the carries.
With Reggie Bush regaining game form, Chris Ivory on board and Thomas returning, this is one three-headed monster that could give fantasy owners fits during the fantasy playoffs.
Last Week’s Falling RB in Week 13:

Beanie Wells, ARZ: three carries, 24 yards.
Fred Jackson, BUF: 11 carries, 42 yards, one reception, six yards.
Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys WR
7 of 12
Dez Bryant has been sensational for the Dallas Cowboys in his rookie season. Bryant has had the most impact on this team for his fantastic special teams play and on offense despite limited touches.
Unfortunately for the rookie, he will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ankle injury in Dallas’ overtime shootout victory over the Indianapolis Colts Week 13. Expect Bryant to be fine for the 2011 season and make a huge fantasy impact.
Bryant finished the season with six touchdowns and 561 yards on 45 receptions. He also added two punt return touchdowns.

Brett Favre, Minnesota Vikings QB
10 of 12
Favre suffered a sprained shoulder against the Buffalo Bills in Week 13. As of now, he is questionable for the Week 14 matchup against the New York Giants and their athletic defense. His consecutive start streak is on the line and will most likely gut it out if he is able to remotely throw the ball.
Tarvaris Jackson relieved Favre and actually played good game despite throwing three interceptions. He would start for Minnesota, although it is not an ideal matchup.
