Barcelona vs. Rubin Kazan, kickoff time 20:45 CET

This is simply a victory lap for Barcelona as they’ve already racked up enough points to leave them at the top of the group.

When it comes to Barca's Champions League form, things have been pretty solid, particularly at the back they’ve only allowed seven shots on target giving them the meanest defence in Europe this season.

On the other hand, the last team to prevent the home side from scoring was in fact Rubin Kazan.

Rubin Kazan are hoping not to have to face the full threat of Barcelona after all they need a win here if they are going to get through the group stages.

Even if things do go their way, then this may not quite be enough. Still even against a second string Barcelona side this is going to be an uphill struggle for the Russians.

Copenhagen vs. Panathinaikos, kickoff time 20:45 CET

Neither of these sides have got exciting goal scoring records in the group stages this season, although Panathinaikos’ poor defensive record may change things for the home side. If they are lucky, then they may manage to rack up a few goals and solidify their place in the knockout stages properly.

This could be a tricky game for the home side despite Pana’s poor record recently, and their manager has said just as much in a recent statement to the press. Stale Solbakken has said that he is well aware that Barcelona are likely to win their match he cannot bank on that happening.

This season has been an embarrassment for Panathinaikos, sitting at the bottom of the group with two points and no way of even getting into the Europa league spot. The Greek manager has said that they will be playing for pride seeing as they haven’t actually won a match in the Champions League this season.
