College Football Top 25
Here is my top 25 after a week of action.
1. Ohio State
Lower: The Buckeyes lost Beanie Wells in the season opener, but with a week off before USC, he should be alright.
2. Georgia
Higher: Their starting running back is not hurt like Ohio State's.
Lower: They lost the starting defensive tackle.
3. Oklahoma
Higher: Offense and defense were both insanely productive in week one.
Lower: They only played Chattanooga.
4. Missouri
Higher: They beat Illinois, the twentieth ranked team in the nation and it wasn't really close after the first quarter.
Lower: The secondary got destroyed by Juice Williams and the Illini receiving corps.
5. Florida
Higher: They beat a FBS school which is more than most programs can say.
Lower: Tebow wasn't the statistical monster he was last year, and they only beat Hawaii.
6. USC
Higher: They beat down Virginia on the road, and Mark Sanchez looked great.
Lower: Virginia is simply put, a bad team.
7. West Virginia
Higher: The Mountaineers showed no signs of slowing down after Rich Rod left.
Lower: They played Villanova.
8. LSU
Higher: They destroyed last year's darling in Appalachian St.
Lower: Appalachian State is still a FCS program.
9. Kansas
Higher: They got a season opening victory over FIU.
Lower: The offensive line didn't look very good against FIU.
