Recapping Fantasy Football Weekend!!!

Over the weekend i participated in 3 fantasy drafts. 2 yearly redraft leagues and 1 keeper league where you get to keep up to 4 players losing the draft pick from which the player was kept. Lets Start with the keeper league:

The rules of the keeper are ppr and the draft order was based on finish the year before and it was not a snake draft. The worst team got to draft first in every round.

1) Brandon Marshall - Most guys in the first round got kept except for a select few and i really had my eyes set on Drew Brees I wanted him so bad but the team that released him picked before me and picked him right back up.I also could have went McFadden with this pick since this league is a keeper but I want to put out the best team possible this year and i think Marshall solidifies my starting lineup.

2) Chad Johnson - Keeper from last year

3) Reggie Wayne - Keeper from last year

4) Adrian Peterson - Keeper from last year

5) Marion Barber - Keeper from last year

6) Thomas Jones

7) Tony Gonzalez

8) Nate Burleson

9) Matt Hasselbeck

10) Deangelo Williams

11) Bears D

12) Aaron Rodgers

13) Robert Meachem

14) Maurice Morris

15) Kurt Warner

16) Phil Dawson

I think this team has a very good chance to win it all if Warner can sustain his level of play from last year and Peterson doesn't fall into the sophomore slump.

Next Draft was one of my yearly redraft leagues and I pulled the 2nd Pick:

1) Adrian Peterson - I really love this kid, I think he is the next great back in the league that everyone wants in fantasy. If he plays all 16 games 2000 yards is a possibility.

2) Tony Romo - Couldn't believe he lasted this long , I had no problems taking him at the end of the 2nd round

3) Marques Colston

4) Brandon Marshall- His suspension didn't scare me at all , championships aren't won in the first week and I look for Marshall to have a huge season.

5) Darren McFadden - If he turns out to be this years A-pete I got myself a steal

6) Thomas Jones

7) Edgerrin James

8) Donald Driver - Hopefully driver can build a rapport with Rodgers and be his go to guy.

9) Santana Moss

10) Jeremy Shockey - Brees loves his tight ends and if he's healthy , Shockey is one of the best in the league.

11) Chester Taylor - Have to protect my investment with drafting Taylor.

12) Brett Favre

13) Deangelo Williams - if he builds on his good preseason this will be a steal

14) Tampa Bay D

15) Josh Brown

I am very happy with this team as it looks to be a contender all year long.

Last Weekend Draft was a yearly redraft league and I got the dreaded 7th pick:

1) Tom Brady - As much as i didn't like taking him here it was good value as long as the reports about his foot being cracked are false. If he just throws for 38 td's i will be more than happy. Moss went the pick before me at 6 so i was very happy with Brady at 7

2) Marshawn Lynch - First round talent in the 2nd round cant beat that.

3) Brandon Marshall - This was a reach I will be the first to admit it , but i really think Marshall takes the step up to the class of elites this year. I could have had Steve Smith, Torry Holt or Plaxico but i chose Marshall because i believe in him.

4) Willie Parker - I don't get why everyone is so down on him this year. Yes Mendenhall is there but this is Parker's job. The 2 td's last year was a fluke I would bet he gets at least 7 with 1400 yards.

5) Michael Tuner - Awesome value in the 5th, hopefully he plays good and I can trade him for a WR

6) Donald Driver - Another reach but at this point I needed WR's

7) Roddy White - Another good value in the 7th round, White is capable of putting up solid numbers because Atlanta should be down a lot. Matt Ryan is actually an upgrade over Harrington, Leftwich and Redmond.

8) Ronnie Brown - If Brown can regain for midway through the season this could be the steal of the draft.

9) Felix Jones

10) Reggie Williams - TD machine has good chemistry with Garrard.

11) Chester Taylor - If Peterson goes down I have a gold mine here.

12) Robert Meachem

13) Aaron Rodgers

14) Tony Scheffler - probably should have went Owen Daniels here, he didn't get drafted though so if Scheffler is a bust I will pick him up.

15) Seattle D

16) Robbie Gould
