Points: 68 Stock: SAME- The Bengal Tigers trounced Appalachian State, and looked good doing it. Couple more cupcakes until SEC play starts.

4.

Points: 64 Stock: SAME- Auburn used defense and special teams to dominate Louisiana-Monroe, now they need a quarterback to step up and take the reigns.

5.

Points: 57 Stock: UP- The Crimson Tide looked great against Clemson and Saban looks to have the Tide firmly in the SEC west race.

6.

Points: 46 Stock: UP- The Gamecocks looked sluggish in the first half against NC State, but turned in on in the second half. Defense looks dominant.

7.

Points: 44 Stock: DOWN- The Vols suffered a big loss on the road against an out manned UCLA team with a third string QB. Back to the drawing board for Fulmer and the Vols offense.

8.

Points: 33 Stock: UP- Houston Nutt had a successful opener for the Rebels crushing Memphis, a tough test against Wake Forest awaits.

9.

Points: 20 Stock: UP- The Wildcats looked good in their opener dominating rival Louisville on the road with a very good defense.

9.

Points: 20 Stock: UP- Vanderbilt was an underdog on the road at a MAC team in Miami (OH), but the 'Dores looked very good and QB Chris Nickson looked solid as well.

9.

Points: 20 Stock: DOWN- Mississippi State went on the road at Louisiana Tech in a no win situation really, and the Bulldogs lost big time. Tough loss for a team trying to sustain success.

12.

Points: 14 Stock: DOWN- Even though Arkansas won the game against Western Illinois, a four point win isn't exactly impressive at home. Petrino has work to do.
