The Baltimore Ravens Aren't That Desperate At QB. Are They?
There has been speculation that the Ravens are going to go out and sign Joey Harrington. Actually, there was a report the last couple of days that both sides had reached an agreement.
Then it was that he was one of three quarterbacks the Ravens were looking at to be the backup for their first game, after Troy Smith had a problem with his tonsils, and Kyle Boller is seriously considering shoulder surgery after being diagnosed with a partially torn labrum.
PLEASE do NOT bring Joey Harrington back to the NFL; he is no good and will not do any more than just fill a jersey and probably earn the league minimum. Granted, even if he was signed, Flacco will still get the start, and Harrington is only insurance.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's be serious. That would be like getting flood insurance when you know a Tsunami is coming. It will do no good. Why not go give some college free-agent a try—not Joey Harrington.
I know Joey is a veteran, but he is only a veteran because the Falcons and Dolphins became so desperate for a QB. Joey Harrington is no starting or backup QB in the NFL. He has only thrown an above 60-percent pass-completion rate once in a six year career.
Only once has he thrown more touchdowns than picks, and twice has he not averaged an interception per game he started. Ladies and gentleman, if he is on the field at any point for your team, your team isn't going anywhere but down.
I don't care how desperate the Ravens may be for a backup QB; even if Harrington doesn't play, all he will do is preach to the "QB of the future" for the Raves how to throw a strike to the other team and how to take a sack.
Geez, and they already have Kyle Boller there. THERE IS A REASON HE IS STILL A FREE AGENT AFTER FOUR WEEKS OF PRESEASON.
