NBA: Heat at Lakers and the Best NBA Games of the Month of December

There are some fantastic games during December, including the Heat's two biggest games of the year. Here is a look at the best NBA games in the month of December.

December 1st

Trail Blazers at Celtics (NBA TV)- Two of the best young players in Rajon Rondo and Brandon Roy face off in Boston.

Magic at Bulls- This should be a great game with Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard dueling in what should be an offensive showdown.

December 2nd

Heat at Cavaliers (TNT)- The game we have all been waiting for, LeBron's return to Cleveland. Things could get ugly as King James and his new team take on the Cavaliers.

December 3rd

Bulls at Celtics (ESPN)- These two teams are arguably the best teams in the East. Two of the best PG's in the league take the stage as Rose and Rondo meet on ESPN.

Knicks at Hornets- The Knicks take on their possible future PG in Chris Paul in New Orleans.

December 5th

Hornets at Spurs (NBA TV)- The two biggest surprise teams this year meet up in San Antonio as Paul leads the Hornets against Tony Parker and the Spurs, who are red hot.

December 6th

Thunder at Bulls- The two teams of the future face off in Chicago as Kevin Durant leads the Thunder against Rose and the Bulls.

December 8th

Heat at Jazz- The Heat have struggled all year against elite PG's and they play one of the best in Utah in Deron Williams.

December 10th

Lakers at Bulls (ESPN)- Wow, the Bulls have a hard schedule. Kobe leads the Lakers into Chicago to take on the Bulls.

December 11th

Jazz at Mavericks- Williams leads the Jazz into Texas to take on Jason Kidd and the red hot Mavericks.

December 12th

Nuggets at Knicks- Carmelo Anthony makes his only trip to MSG this year in what could be his future home. This starts a very hard week for New York.

December 15th

Celtics at Knicks (ESPN)- The hard week continues for the Knicks as they take on their biggest rivals—the Celtics—at the real Garden.

Cavaliers at Heat- The Cavaliers make their first trip to LeBron's new home in Miami.

December 17th

Heat at Knicks (ESPN)- Think the Knicks have a hard schedule? It continues as the Heat take on the Knicks for the first time this year at the Garden.

Jazz at Hornets- The two best PG's in the league are in the spotlight as Williams and Paul meet in New Orleans.

December 22nd

Thunder at Knicks- Kevin Durant had a great game at MSG last year, and he will try and do it again this year as the Thunder take on the Knicks.

December 23rd

Heat at Suns (TNT)- The Heat have to deal with another elite point guard as they travel to Phoenix and take on Steve Nash and the Suns.

December 25th- Christmas Day

Bulls at Knicks (ESPN)- Two rising teams square off as the Bulls travel to New York to take on the Knicks.

Celtics at Magic (ABC)- A rematch of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Heat at Lakers (ABC)- The game of the year in L.A. takes place on Christmas Day, as the Heat take on the Lakers.

December 28th

Lakers at Spurs- This will be the true test for the Spurs as they take on the best team in the NBA.

December 30th

Knicks at Magic (TNT)- The two best big men face off in Orlando as Amare Stoudemire leads the Knicks to face Dwight Howard and the Magic.
