No. 10: New York Giants (7-4), 51 Pts.
1 of 11
Last Week: v. Jacksonville 24-20 W
Next Week: v. Washington 1:00 PM ET
Rankings: No. 6 Scoring Offense
No. 17 Scoring Defense
Brandon Jacobs has resumed his role as a starter without breaking stride, and Eli Manning managed an impressive fourth quarter comeback without his top two receivers, Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith.
No. 9: San Diego Chargers (6-5), 54 Pts.
2 of 11
Last Week: @ Indianapolis 36-14 W
Next Week: v. Oakland 4:05 PM ET
Rankings: No. 3 Scoring Offense
No. 12 Scoring Defense
The Bolts are at it again. They are playing better all around football, and Philip Rivers is playing at a level high above any other quarterback in the NFL right now, and no one has slowed him or this team down since New England narrowly escaped with a win in Week 7.
No. 8: Philadelphia Eagles (7-4), 102 Pts.
3 of 11
Last Week: @ Chicago 26-31 L
Next Week: Thu, v. Houston 8:20 PM ET
Rankings: No. 2 Scoring Offense
No. 20 Scoring Defense
Michael Vick threw his first interception of the year, whether or not it was his fault, and his first loss of the season...whether or not it was his fault. Either way, this team better get their act together because they have three consecutive games against solid teams, including division rival's Dallas and New York.
No. 7: Chicago Bears (8-3), 186 Pts.
4 of 11
Last Week: v. Philadelphia 31-26 W
Next Week: @ Detroit 1:00 PM ET
Rankings: No. 22 Scoring Offense
No. 2 Scoring Defense
The Bears got a huge win versus Philadelphia-a team that was considered by some to be the best in the league when Vick was on the field. They are a streaky team though who relies on big runs to keep their offense driving so if they are able to put up another win when they host New England two weeks from now, they will skyrocket in the rankings.
No. 6: Green Bay Packers (7-4), 123 Pts.
5 of 11
Last Week: @ Atlanta 17-20 L
Next Week: v. San Francisco 1:00 PM ET
Rankings: No. 8 Scoring Offense
No. 1 Scoring Defense
This loss was a tough one to swallow. They allowed kick returner Eric Weems and quarterback Matt Ryan to take this one from them in the final seconds but will have two weeks to regroup before facing New England on the road.
No. 5: Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3), 255 Pts.
6 of 11
Last Week: @ Buffalo 19-16 W
Next Week: Sun, @ Baltimore 8:20 PM ET
Rankings: No. 16 Scoring Offense
No. 3 Scoring Defense
The Steelers escaped with a win in Buffalo after Big Ben went down with an injury. He'll need to be near 100 percent this week in what will likely be their most important game of the year.
No. 4: Baltimore Ravens (8-3), 291 Pts.
7 of 11
Last Week: v. Tampa Bay 17-10 W
Next Week: Sun, v. Pittsburgh 8:20 PM ET
Rankings: No. 17 Scoring Offense
No. 5 Scoring Defense
The Ravens defense has put up two consecutive good efforts, but they will need more than just a good effort to beat their division rival, Pittsburgh, in a key battle this Sunday night.
No. 3: New York Jets (9-2), 357 Pts.
8 of 11
Last Week: v. Cincinnati 26-10 W
Next Week: Mon, @ New England 8:30 PM ET
Rankings: No. 11 Scoring Offense
No. 4 Scoring Defense
There is a lot of attention heading into this week's game versus the Patriots so we could possibly see a big swing in the rankings next week.
No. 2: Atlanta Falcons (9-2), 405 Pts. (7)
9 of 11
Last Week: v. Green Bay 20-17 W
Next Week: @ Tampa Bay 4:15 PM ET
Rankings: No. 7 Scoring Offense
No. 7 Scoring Defense
The Falcon's looked like they were headed to overtime versus the Packers last Sunday, but Eric Weems broke lose on a kickoff returner and a flagrant foul set them up in Green bay territory, where Matt Bryant would ultimately win them the game. They will begin a long road trip in Tampa Bay this weekend against a division rival who hopes to bring them back down to Earth.
No. 1: New England Patriots (9-2), 417 Pts. (9)
10 of 11
Last Week: @ Detroit 45-24 W
Next Week: Mon, v. New York Jets 8:30 PM ET
Rankings: No. 1 Scoring Offense
No. 22 Scoring Defense
Their defense is near the bottom of the league right now (31st in Total Yardage), but this team continues to find ways to win behind Tom Brady's leadership. This will be their most important task yet though, as they take on the other 9-2 team in the AFC East.
Others Receiving Votes
11 of 11
Kansas City Chiefs 33, Indianapolis Colts 3, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3
The Colts may have fallen out of the rankings but more notable is that they have dropped five games for the first time since 2003.
