Fantasy Football Goal-Line Carry Stats: Aaron Rodgers Leads the Pack?
Observations: By Stegman
Another busy week down in the goal-line trenches, as 31 attempts is good for the 3rd largest total for the 2010 season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If the Green Bay Packers do not go to the playoffs this season, it will be because they were too pig-headed to make a play for a running back before the trade deadline.
Aaron Rodgers is now their goal-line running back. Here's a little salt for the wound... DeAngelo Williams was thrown on the IR because the Panthers are:
A) A bunch of jerks, and
B) Because they claim they needed the roster spot. I hear he could play next week if need be.

Alrighty then, Frank Gore went down and his owners who ignored our sage advice to trade him are now throwing all kinds of Hail Marys around and crossing fingers that Anthony Dixon and Brian Westbrook will be available on the late-season waiver wire.
It's just more proof that handcuffing is a brilliant strategy.
Suicide Watch
While the Rams don't have quite the same running woes, it's interesting to note that Steven Jackson has been shut out in four goal-line carry attempts so far this season.
His owners will become slightly more annoyed to learn that Kenneth "Terrence Trent" Darby siphoned off the only goal-line attempt of Sunday afternoon's shootout.
P.S. What's up with S-Jax being basically ignored in the passing game? That's not cool.
Ahhh, Yes, I Get It
Brandon Jacobs got the start in Week 12 for the G-men, out-rushed/performed his fellow backfield mate, Ahmad Bradshaw, yet still ceded the lone goal-line carry to him, which by the way, he was unable to convert.
Start Brandon Jacobs with caution even if he is announced as the starter. Evidently, the 5'9", 198-pound Bradshaw is a more appealing option in goal-line situations over the 6'4", 264-pound Jacobs.
P.S. Jacobs is averaging 5.2 YPC vs. Bradshaw's 4.7 YPC. I get it. No, seriously, it makes perfect sense.
Get Over It
Did you start Jahvid Best last week? I did. Are you over it? It took me awhile.
When I saw Maurice Morris run in the first of two TDs, I was left in shock that I was able to resist the urge to stick my remote through my plasma in the spot where Morris' head was.
After his second TD, I had to be restrained. My mother-in-law's new boyfriend wasn't sure what was going on; he looked nervous. My brother-in-law, who has been primed for this type of behavior for about seven years running, calmly explained that "It's just fantasy football, he'll eventually get over it, or at least he usually does."
Thanks, Scott. I finally am over it.
I'm not so sure that Maurice Morris is worth picking up, though. Those two goal-line carries were a fluke as the Lions are among the bottom two teams in goal-line carry attempts on the year. Shaun Hill is moving the ball consistently, but Morris can expect to share carries with second-year guy Aaron Brown going forward.
The Lions have seven total rushing scores this season, and four of them were scored in the first three weeks.
And Finally...
Did anyone check out how Jamaal Charles' broke his goal-line cherry? And he converted it, no less. Up until that point, Thomas Jones and Jackie Battle were the lone goal-line attempt guys with 13 attempts on only five goal-line TDs. JC is one for one.
