Chad Ochocinco: Ranking Sports Figures Who Have Posed for Nude PETA Ads

Chad Ochocinco is back in the news today, and it's for nothing he's done on the football field.

Ochocinco posed nude in a PETA campaign against the fur industry.

He isn't the first sports related person to appear in these ads. With that in mind, we'll be breaking down those celebrities who did the spread for PETA.

These people either are athletes, dated athletes or worked in sports at some point.

Honorable Mention: Audrina Patridge

As you can see, there's a reason why Audrina Patridge is an honorable mention.

She's not nude. She's in a skimpy outfit, but that is not nude.

Patridge is linked to X-Gamer Corey Bohan, who is a BMX rider known for his dirt jumping.

There have been naked pictures of Audrina in the past, I'm shocked she didn't do it for a cause she believes in.

Also, I wouldn't call any member of the Hills or Laguna Beach an angel. But that's just me.

No. 10: Dennis Rodman

As you can see, there's a reason this is ranked so low.

Seeing Dennis Rodman naked would make him want to put any type of clothes on.

Plus, who is going to think that since The Worm supports a cause, it will help sway public opinion in favor of that cause?

I mean look at him. The man's a goblin, but you don't expect anything less from someone who has worn a wedding dress.

It's all just highly disturbing.

No. 9: Chad Ochocinco

The latest star to support PETA is Chad Ochocinco.

With how much confidence he has, are you shocked that he did something like this? I can safely say I'm not.

I'm more shocked at him being an animal lover and doing something like this for PETA.

I wonder if he's going to change his tune about those fashion lines that he loves so much if they have items made out of fur. Also, does anyone appreciate the irony of using something nicknamed a pigskin to cover up his groin?

No. 8: Tony Gonzalez

Not too long ago, Tony Gonzalez and his wife October stripped down for a PETA ad.

The only redeeming factor about this ad is his wife. It's clear that Tony outkicked his coverage when it comes to finding a wife.

He's a lucky man.

The only issue I have with this ad is that Tony Gonzalez almost has no personality for him to really be influential in one of these ads.

No. 7: Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom's wife, recently posed nude for PETA.

And really, I don't find her attractive at all.

I mean, she looks like Frankenberry. And what in the world is going on with her hair in this ad?

She looks like she's been electrocuted.

Lamar Odom lost by marrying the lesser of the three Kardashian sisters.

No. 6: Karina Smirnoff

Karina Smirnoff is professional dancer who is one of the pros on the TV show Dancing with the Stars.

She's danced with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and is engaged to pitcher Brad Penny. Don't ask me how he pulled down a girl like her or how they even met considering their respective circles.

Although, dancing naked might be a way to spice up Dancing with the Stars other than having a former governor's daughter get further in the competition than she should have.

Not that I follow that sort of thing.

No. 5: Amanda Beard

Amanda Beard is a swimmer who made a lot of news when she decided to pose nude for Playboy.

She also stripped down for PETA, and you have to appreciate the patriotism in the ad. Although, Beard wasn't very successful at the 2008 Olympics.

And, really, not many people could tell you who she is.

She doesn't have a lot of name recognition, and that hurts this ad.

No. 5: Amanda Beard

Ahe talks about her house and all of the pets she has.

She also talks about her thoughts on animal cruelty. Be warned, there is some footage in there that might be unsettling if you're not suspecting at it.

Beard also talks about her thoughts on PETA. I'm not sure everyone would agree with her stance.

No. 4: Joanna Krupa

Joanna Krupa is a supermodel, and you may be wondering about her connection to the sports world.

Krupa did a television show, Superstars, that pitted celebrities against each other in athletic events. She was famously paired with Terrell Owens and chewed him out on the show and walked away from him.

As for the ad, kind of offensive, don't you think?

No. 3: Joanna Krupa

Joanna Krupa was so happy with being on PETA that she's been in the nude for the organization numerous times.

That alone deserves an extra ranking spot for the model.

Although I don't get why she's standing in the next to a doorway in front of what looks like an arena. Can someone explain that to me?

No. 2: Olivia Munn

We all know Olivia Munn as the lovable geek on G4's Attack of the Show or her recent addition as a cast member to the Daily Show.

However, back in the day, she used to work for Fox Sports Net as a sideline reporter. She's been branching out a lot in recent months and taking advantage of the fact that she's a pretty girl.

Although I'm not sure what her being naked has anything to do with elephants and the circus.

No. 1: Holly Madison

Holly Madison, of Girls Next Door and sleeping with the ancient Hugh Hefner fame, has been linked to UFC fighter Josh Koscheck in the past.

Madison posed nude, and this might be my favorite ad of the bunch. It almost feels like a World War II pinup, only a little more racy.

It's obvious that, being a Playmate, she's obviously comfortable being naked on camera.

I like the ad. It's probably the best one of the whole series.
