Inside the numbers:

  • Michael Vick didn’t get the win for the Eagles, but he passed Chicago’s tough test with flying colors, throwing for 333 yards and a pair of touchdowns (one interception). He added 44 yards on the ground. He’s a terrific play against Houston’s generous pass defense.
  • No Moss, no problem for Tom Brady. He has 11 touchdown passes in his past four games. The Jets will present a challenge, but it would be hard to sit him the way he’s playing right now.
  • Is Dwayne Bowe red hot or is it Matt Cassel? My guess is that it’s a combination of both. Cassel has 12 touchdown passes in his past four games, and is a good play against a vulnerable Broncos’ pass defense, who he torched for 469 yards and four touchdowns in week ten.
  • I guess Jay Cutler may be back. With Detroit on tap, it appears to be a good week to play him.
  • Sam Bradford has plenty of room to improve on his first game against Arizona, and I have every reason to believe he will.
  • Mark Sanchez threw for 220 yards and three scores in the first meeting with the Patriots. He’s a borderline fantasy starter this week.
