Fantasy Football: Arian Foster, Tom Brady and The Top Performers of Week 12

Week 12 in the NFL was full of extraordinary performances by some of the league's most exciting players such as Tom Brady and Jay Cutler, along with some young guns making a name for themselves like Sam Bradford, Arian Foster and Peyton Hillis.

With the 2010-11' NFL season coming to an end, every player and team will be performing at their highest-level in the search of a post-season birth.

The following players had an outstanding Thanksgiving Weekend, giving Fantasy Owners all over something to be thankful for.

At Denver Broncos—22-37, 308 yards, three touchdowns, and a 113.3 QB Rating

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

The rookie out of Oklahoma had the best game of his very young career, leading the St. Louis Rams to a 36-33 victory over the Denver Broncos.

Week 12 Stat's: 

At Seattle Seahawks—13 receptions for 170 yards and three touchdowns

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

Dwayne Bowe is having a fantastic Pro-bowl Caliber season, scoring 13 touchdowns in the last seven games.  In Week 10 Bowe exampled how productive he could really be making 13 receptions for 186 yards and two touchdowns.  

This past week, against the Seattle Seahawks, he had a similar performance proving that he has the potential to be a consistent weapon on a weekly basis.

Week 12 Stat's: 

Vs. Carolina Panthers—26 attempts for 131 yards and three touchdowns; six receptions for 63 Yards

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

Peyton Hillis had an explosive performance in Week 12, against the Carolina Panthers, snapping a two game losing streak by a score of 24-23.  This was the fourth time Peyton Hillis ran for over 100 yards this season and the first three-touchdown rushing performance of his career.

Week 12 Stat's: 

Vs. Detroit Lions—8 receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

Wes Welker had his best game of the season, against the Detroit Lions, showing no sign of slowing down since his knee was surgically repaired.  Welker told the Boston Herald, "My knee felt great.  I'm just staying on top of it.  These past few weeks, this is the best I've felt.  I felt like I continued to make strides, and I'm not worried about it at all.  I'm out there, feeling like my old self."

Week 12 Stat's: 

Vs. Philadelphia Eagles—14-21 for 247 yards and four touchdowns; seven rushes for 17 Yards.

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

Jay Cutler had his best performance of the season, recording his highest QB Rating and the most touchdowns so far this year.  He did this against a pretty impressive Eagles passing defense who is ranked 13th overall in the NFL, limiting their opponents to 214.0 YPG.

Week 12 Stat's: 

Vs. Tennessee Titans—30 rushes for 143 Yards; nine receptions for 75 Yards

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

Although Arian Foster didn't record a touchdown this week, he had an excellent outing against the Tennessee Titans rushing for over 100 yards for the sixth time this season.  The Texans desperately needed a big performance out of Foster after losing the last four games, and that's exactly what they got in the 20-0 win over the Titans.

Week 12 Stat's: 

At Indianapolis Colts—26 attempts for 103 yards and one touchdown; 2 receptions for 15 Yards

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

You rarely see fullbacks recording a significant amount of yards, but Mike Tolbert has become a dangerous running force for the San Diego Chargers.  This past weekend Tolbert earned his third 100-yard performance of the season, and has now recorded a touchdown in eight of eleven games this season.  

Tolbert took advantage of the 30th ranked rushing defense of the Indianapolis Colts, who give up an average of 136.0 YPG.  If you own Tolbert be sure to start him in the following weeks, seeing increased touches while showing he can consistently perform at a high level for San Diego.

Week 12 Stat's: 

21-27 for 341 yards and four touchdowns and a 158.3 QB Rating

Week 12 Fantasy Points: 

Tom Brady recorded a season-high of four touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in preparation for the Week 13 battle against New England's AFC East divisional rival, the New York Jets.  In Week 12, Brady guided the Patriots to their highest score of the season, 45, while completing 77.8 % of his passes.  If the 11-year veteran can continue to be this efficient, than the New York Jets might just drop to an 8-3 record and second in the AFC East.
