Kansas City Chiefs Receiver Dwayne Bowe Continues To Dominate in Week 12

Frank FittipaldiNov 28, 2010

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is having a monster year and he continued his outstanding play in a Week 12 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Bowe caught 13 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns, a season high.

Bowe has been incredible for fantasy owners as he has been carrying receiving corps in fantasy leagues. Week 12 was the second time in three weeks that Bowe has had 13 receptions.

No. 82 has caught 32 passes in the last three games.

Bowe's hot streak has him fourth in the NFL in receiving yards with 885 and first overall with 14 touchdown receptions. Bowe has now scored a touchdown in seven consecutive game, five in which have been multi-touchdown performances.

Fantasy owners cannot say enough about Bowe and neither can the Kansas City Chiefs. The fourth year man from LSU has been solid since entering the league in 2007, but his breakout year was highly anticipated. The anticipation is over because Bowe has done more than break out in 2010, he has established himself as one of the elite receivers in football.

A lot of Bowe's success comes from the success of a teammate, quarterback Matt Cassel. Cassel has played extremely well this season and he and Bowe have been one of the best connections in the league. Numbers prove that Bowe is Cassel's favorite target as 14 of Cassel's 22 touchdown passes have gone to No. 82.

Regardless of his matchups, Dwayne Bowe should be in fantasy owners' lineup week in and week out as he may be the key factor to win a fantasy championship.
