Kofi Kingston: The WWE's Latest Misused Superstar
I'm fifteen years old and this is my first ever pro wrestling article. Not to worry, I'm not going write about John Cena's super human powers or why Hornswaggle needs to be WWE Champion. Now to the article itself:
About this time last year, Kofi Kingston was in the middle of a mega-push. He was in the middle of a fued with The Legacy in particular Randy Orton. From destroying Orton's Nascar to the Boom Drop at MSG, we all thought he was about to become a world champion. That was until he botched a punt turned RKO. He would quickly become The Viper's personal jobber until the fued ended.
It was later revealed that Orton told the company's management that Kofi "wasn't ready to main event." Now while I could easily rant on Randy Orton and how he went from "the Legend Killer" to the future stars killer, I will not.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
We all have witnessed the talent of Kofi Kingston. His "controlled frenzy" in-ring style brings everyone in the area (or watching at home) to their feet. He is one of the most over Superstars with the kids in the WWE. Who gets bigger pops? John Cena, Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker, Edge and "The Future Stars Killer" himself, Randy Orton. All of the guys I just mentioned are established main eventers, doesn't that tell you something?
Now to the knocks some have had on Kingston. The first would be mic work. Need I go any farther than the previously mentioned destruction of Randy Orton's Nascar. What else needs to be said?
The second problem many have had with Kingston is his character development. Kingston proved he can be serious in fueds with Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler. It's up to the creative team to develop his character further, perhaps letting him cut a promo every once in while?
The last problem the "IWC" has had with the Jamaican...I mean African superstar is botches. I can't deny the fact Kingston botches a lot; however, his style is partly to blame for this. But after all, this is pro wrestling! Everyone is going to have the occasional botch, even Randy Orton.
What do you think? Does Kofi Kingston deserve a push, or is he a mid-carder for life?
