Miami Dolphins (Dolphins Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Oakland Pass Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 4th—TDs Allowed T-25th
Oakland Rush Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 25th—TDs Allowed T-18th
Miami Offensive Cast
Tyler Thigpen (QB Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 23/41 for 266 yards and one TD
Chad Henne has been cleared to play, so toss Thigpen back in the garbage heap where you found him.
Chad Henne (QB Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 195/305 for 2,140 yards and nine TDs
Henne is back and will resume his role as the starter this week. However, without Brandon Marshall on the field, he’s hardly worth your time against a pretty good Oakland secondary.
Ronnie Brown (RB Week 12 Ranking: No. 32)
2010 Season: 116 carries for 454 yards and three TDs || 21 receptions for 139 yards
Ronnie has barely been worth using at all this year, but if you’re looking for one game to show him the field, this might be the one. The Raiders can be beat on the ground, and with the Dolphins sans Brandon Marshall, Brown could actually get enough work to do some damage.
Ricky Williams (RB Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 92 carries for 401 yards and one TD || 9 receptions for 64 yards and one TD
Ricky still isn’t getting enough love in this offense to start on your fantasy team this year. Until Ronnie Brown goes down, stash him.
Brandon Marshall (WR Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 58 receptions for 693 yards and one TD
Marshall didn’t practice all week and I’ve heard he won’t even make the trip out west for the game. Stash him on your bench for now.
Davone Bess (WR Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 49 receptions for 489 yards and three TDs
Davone’s production has been tailing off for about a month now and he’s barely even playable in PPR leagues at this point.
Brian Hartline (WR Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 39 receptions for 540 yards and one TD
Hartline will assume the WR1 duties this week, which could mean a whole barrel full of Nnamdi Asomugha up his keaster all game. It’s hardly worth the chance.
Anthony Fasano (TE Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 26 receptions for 383 yards three TDs
Fasano nabs a TD every now and then, but not enough to take a chance on actually playing him.
Oakland Raiders (Raiders Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Miami Pass Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 5th—TDs Allowed T-9th
Miami Rush Defense 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 20th—TDs Allowed T-8th
Oakland Offensive Cast
Jason Campbell (QB Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 104/190 for 1,322 yards and seven TDs
Campbell stunk up the field bad enough last weekend to be pulled from the game, but he’ll remain the starter this week against the Dolphins. That statement was NOT a vote of confidence on my part.
Bruce Gradkowski (QB Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 66/125 for 807 yards and four TDs
Word is that Gradkowski actually took most of the first-team snaps in practice this week, so don't be surprised if you see him replace Campbell at some point in this game.
Darren McFadden (RB Week 12 Ranking: No. 4)
2010 Season: 149 carries for 771 yards and four TDs || 26 receptions for 258 yards and two TDs
If Matt Forte can go off for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins, I can’t wait to see what McFadden does! Get him in there at all costs.
Michael Bush (RB Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 89 carries for 357 yards and four TDs || 11 receptions for 145 yards
Bush has averaged just seven touches a game over the last three contests. Stash him in case Run DMC gets hurt.
Louis Murphy (WR Week 12 Ranking: No. 47)
2010 Season: 24 receptions for 362 yards and one TD
Murphy is back, and being the WR1 on this team, he might be able to make a dent in the fantasy scoring column. Don’t use him unless you have to, however.
Darrius Heyward-Bey (WR Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 19 receptions for 266 yards and one TD
DHB is taking back his WR2 spot this week, but really now, does that matter?
Jacoby Ford (WR Week 12 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 12 receptions for 212 yards
Ford is already better than Heyward-Bey, but the coaches put him back in the WR3 slot this week. The Raiders making a poor personnel move?!?! No way!
Zach Miller (TE Week 12 Ranking: No. 15)
2010 Season: 36 receptions for 470 yards and four TDs
Miller isn’t completely over his injury just yet, and it showed in his two-catch, nine-yard performance last weekend. He’s talented enough to take a chance on, but don’t expect the numbers he was putting up earlier in the year just yet.
