NFL Week 16: San Diego Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals Isn't Sunday Night Worthy
When week 16 comes in the NFL, thats when NBC gets picky about their games being broadcasted life on National TV. This year, NBC's game in week 16 is the Chargers (who will probably make the playoffs) and the Bengals (yeah.......). So obviously NBC will chose a different game from that day and put it on Sunday Night Football. But which game will it be? Well, lets look at the games being played that Sunday and see if we can do it for them.
Thursday Night Football: I think NFL Network should also switch because Panthers @ Steelers is not an interesting game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Saturday Night Football: This week there is a special NFL Network showing because its Christmas. They should also change this game. Cowboys @ Cardinals. Yikes.
Games that have no chance of NBC broadcast:
Patriots @ Bills- Even though the Patriots will probably clinch a playoff spot by this point, there is no way they show the Bills on Sunday Night.
Lions @ Dolphins- 2 teams that will most likely not make the playoffs this year, unless a miracle happens, will not be broadcasted on NBC. Its not even a good game, so why bother?
Redskins @ Jaguars- The Jaguars could still be in playoff contention at this point, but Washington will be playing spoiler. Still not a good game for a national TV crowd.
49ers @ Rams- In the worst division in football, with a record of 6-10 could win it, no way would NBC show this game.
Texans @ Broncos- 2 of the most disappointing teams in the AFC will not be on SNF especially with no playoff implications on the line.
Giants @ Packers- you are probably wondering "Is this guy serious? Putting the Giants @ the Packers with no chance of a SNF telecast." The reason is because the Packers are on it the week before. Unless they change the game in Week 15, no way are they putting the Packers on 2 straight weeks.
Chargers @ Bengals- This game is scheduled to be on NBC, but they will most likely change it.
Games that have a little chance of being on NBC:
Ravens @ Browns- The Browns have been good playing spoiler so far this season, beating the Saints and Patriots. But they probably won't show this because even though the Ravens will be fighting for the AFC North title, the Browns won't be.
Seahawks @ Buccaneers- These 2 teams have been surprising, especially the Buccaneers. But if NBC decides to put Tampa Bay on NBC, they should do it when they play the Saints or Falcons. Not against the Seahawks.
Vikings @ Eagles- The Eagles will be fighting for the NFC East with Michael Vick at QB. But the Vikings won't be fighting for the NFC North, whoever they have as their starting QB. In a lost season for the Vikings, they get no NBC broadcast they rest of the year.
Games that have the most chance of being on SNF:
Titans @ Chiefs- These 2 teams could be fighting for their division titles when this week comes. The Titans haven't been as good as we expected them to be, while the Chiefs have overachieved. These would be a great game for NBC.
Colts @ Raiders- These would be a decent game if this was last year. This year, it will be a great game. The Raiders have been fantastic while the Colts have fallen apart, but still in the running for the division title.
(Note: I would put the Giants-Packers, but the Packers are on SNF the week before.)
Game that NBC will most likely choose:
Jets @ Bears- The 2 biggest markets in the USA would be a total slam dunk for NBC. Both of these teams will be fighting for their division title. And with the Jets possibly having the best record in the NFL, and the Bears might possibly have the NFCs best record, this would be a fantastic game.
(Note: ESPNs Monday Night Football is Saints @ Falcons- at least they got it right.)
