Miami Heat Schedule for the Rest of the Year: Predicting the Future
The Miami Heat, with Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh, are 8-7. That record is not what they wanted. Lately, they haven't had any good games. Against Indiana, they got killed and Wade had his worst night of his career. Against Orlando, they played well, but couldn't stop Dwight Howard.
So, looking at the schedule for the rest of the year, they still play the Magic, Lakers, Celtics, and other tough teams that they couldn't beat earlier.
Here is a look at the remaining schedule for the Miami Heat, month by month.
November:
The remaining schedule in November has the 76ers and Wizards at home and the Mavericks at Dallas. The Wizards could be a very tough game against John Wall and Gilbert Arenas. The 76ers should be a blowout. But the game against the Mavericks is on their radar. I predict they go 2-1 in these three games.
Easiest game: Home vs. 76ers
Hardest game: @ Mavericks
Record at the end of November: 10-8.
December:
1st game against the Pistons is a win, but the Dec. 2nd against Cleveland will be very interesting. I honestly believe the Cavaliers will win that game. Then they come back home against the Hawks, before going back on the road against the Bucks. Then they go on a three game west swing against the Jazz, Warriors, and Kings. Coming back home, the Heat have the Hornets and Cavaliers. Then they have a two game road trip in New York and Washington. Then they come home for one game against Dallas before hitting the road again against the Suns, and then the Lakers on Christmas. Then one game at home against the Knicks, and one more game on the road against Houston.
Easiest game: vs. Pistons
Hardest game: @ Lakers
Don't sleep on: @ Knicks
Record at the end of December: 20-14
January:
January starts off with a home game against the Warriors. Then they hit the road against the Bobcats, before going coming back home to start a home and home with the Bucks. Then four more road games follow against the Trail Blazers, Clippers, Nuggets, and Bulls. Then they have two home games against the Hawks and Raptors, before going on the road again to take on the Knicks. Coming back home, they play the Pistons before going back on the road to play the Thunder. Then they come home again to play the Cavaliers to finish off January.
Easiest game: vs. Pistons
Hardest game: @ Nuggets
Dont sleep on: vs. Hawks
Record at the end of January: 28-20
February:
February starts off with a two game road trip against the Magic and Bobcats, before coming home to play the Clippers and Pacers. Then it's back on the road for a four game road trip against the Pistons, Celtics, Pacers, and Raptors. They then come home to play the Kings, then back on the road to take on the Bulls. Then a two game home stand follows against the Wizards, and Knicks.
Easiest game: vs. Kings
Hardest game: @ Magic
Dont sleep on: @ Pacers
Record at the end of February: 36-24
March:
A home game against Orlando starts off March, and then a road game against the Spurs. Then a 6 game homestand starts with the Bulls, Trail Blazers, Lakers, Grizzlies, Spurs, and Thunder. Then a road game at Atlanta, a home game vs. Denver, and then a road game at Detriot, followed by a two game home stand against the 76ers and Rockets, before a two game road trip at Cleveland and Washington.
Easiest game: vs. 76ers
Hardest game: vs. Lakers
Dont sleep on: vs. Grizzlies
Record at the end of March: 46-29
April:
Two road games start off April against the Timberwolves and Nets, before coming home to play the Bucks, Bobcats, and Celtics. Then they close out the season at Atlanta and Toronto.
Easiest game: @ T-Wolves
Hardest game: vs. Celtics
Dont sleep on: @ Nets
Record at end of season: 51-31
