Analyzing The Miz's Possible Opponents For His WWE Championship
Who's next for The Miz and his WWE Championship?
He's the guy we all love to hate, The Miz takes a lot of stick from the IWC because of his in-ring ability but I believe that he definitely deserves his newfound world championship and I can't wait to see him prancing around with the title.
Here I will analyse who I believe is next in line for a title shot for Miz's title. Some people will be obvious, because they're main eventers and Randy Orton's rematch clause means he'll probably have a imminent title shot at the upcoming pay per view: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

Now, without further ado, let's get on with the actual article, shall we?
1: Randy Orton
Now let's start with the obvious and immediately go into the possibility (near certainty) that Randy Orton will receive his contracted title rematch pretty soon.
In previous cases we've seen WWE actually ignore some rematch clauses, Sheamus after Elimination Chamber for example, and give the title shot to a different superstar.
However, I believe that Randy Orton is the company's biggest babyface and they're not going to screw over their biggest babyface just to give some other superstar a rub, now, are they?
Randy Orton will definitely receive a rematch at Tables, Ladders and Chairs and it'll probably be a horrible match to call.
Everyone knows that the WWE wants to put Miz over as their biggest heel yet previous Money in the Bank reigns have struggled to get past one month reigns and if they have they've been terrible to watch.
I expect Miz to be near the title around Wrestlemania 27 time but whether he holds the title is a completely different story.
I do, however, think that Tables, Ladders and Chairs is a very good pay per view for paper champions to screw over the babyface challengers, I cite Sheamus and Cena as an example, and retain their championships in controversial circumstances.
However, I dearly hope Miz and Randy Orton's picture is a rematch-only thing and that the WWE continues pushing their young stars.
Randy Orton is this generation's Steve Austin and he doesn't need a world title to be over with the fans, hell even Steve Austin only had one championship reign over 100 days.
Now, before I ramble on too long on this subject I think I'll move on to the next contenders...
2: Wade Barrett and John Cena
I have classed these two in a category together because I believe that if one of them is to get involved in the title scene further then both of them will be involved in it.
I do believe that this feud is high-profile enough not to need the title in it and if they have Cena take the title away from Miz prematurely, then there's going to be an imminent IWC backlash.
Now I don't really want to go into major detail over these two's probability of becoming a part of the WWE title picture because I would be extremely saddened if the WWE did a U-turn and put Barrett back in the title match.
However, with Cena 'fired,' Barrett needs something to do and after getting screwed on RAW then I expect he'll want a rematch; however, if he gets this rematch I expect a 'mystery man' to interfere and give Miz a victory.
I doubt this will happen, though, because of WWE's inability to book non-face vs heel matches at a pay per view.
3: Sheamus
Now despite the rumours that Triple H's return to television is 'imminent' I think Sheamus really does need something to tie him down before the feud between him and Triple H ignites again.
If the WWE were smart, which they aren't, they'd leave the Triple H and Sheamus match until Wrestlemania as that'd bring some real heat to the already high-profile feud.
But if they're holding off the match where all hell should break loose, what are they going to do with Sheamus in the mean time? Other than a meaningless feud with John Morrison and Santino Marella, there's nothing else for the Celtic Warrior to do until Triple H's return.
Now once again, because of WWE's inability to book a heel vs heel pay per view match, I highly doubt we'll be seeing this two face off.
But this could definitely add credibility to Miz's title reign as he could easily be booked to go over Sheamus cleanly without it harming Sheamus too much because he's got a massive feud with Triple H coming up.
4: John Morrison
Yeah, it's the feud that everyone wants to see. Well I honestly can't see Miz feuding with anyone else, with top faces Randy Orton and John Cena already addressed who else is there for everyone's favourite straight talker?
A turned CM Punk is out of the questions for the same reasons as Triple H, injury. Triple H is probably out of the title picture until at least Extreme Rules because of his feud with Sheamus, too.
And with the only other high-profile babyface who isn't busy being the former champion, Randy Orton, I really don't see anyone else who can face off with Miz in a typical cheating heel vs. hero face kinda role.
Morrison is also seemingly on the end of a push after getting the rub from a two-time champion in Sheamus.
These two also have obvious background which does nothing but add to the integrity of this feud; hell, an extremely personal and heated feud could do wonders for Miz's reign if he gets the rub and could even give the title back some well-needed integrity.
This was Harry Richardson and I hope you can relate to what I've said. Any comments are well appreciated.
