Twins vs. Sox: The Schedules

The Twins will finish up the month of August with two more games against the Oakland Athletics while the White Sox will finish the month up with two against the Red Sox. When September rolls around the White Sox will have 26 games remaining on their schedule while the Twins will have 25.

Looking over the two schedules it looks like the White Sox will have just a slightly tougher schedule ahead. Both teams play the same number of games in the season and the same teams, so if the Twins do go on to win the division we better not hear about how the White Sox played the better teams down the stretch. The Twins played the same teams earlier in the season.

Anyways, here is how the rest of the season will shape up for each team.

The White Sox will play a very good Angels team three times, a Yankees team that likely won't just lay down four times and then the Twins. Our team, the Twins, will play a good Tampa Bay team and the rest are nearly the same other than Baltimore.

For the Twins, the tough task will be winning on the road. When they do return home and play their six games, they'll head back on the road for ten in Cleveland, Tampa Bay and Baltimore.
