UPDATE: Floyd Mayweather Jr.: Assualt In Sin City
Quincy Williams filed a report with the Las Vegas Police Department on Monday November 22, 2010, accusing Floyd Mayweather Jr. of assault with a deadly weapon.ย
According to the Las Vegas review Journal, who obtained a copy of the police report filled, allegedly Floyd was driving his white Bentley when he passed Quincy Williams on Arville Rd.
Mayweather then made a U-Turn and attempted to force Williamsโ red sedan off the road, Floyd has not been arrested according to custody records.
Some may remember the name Quincy Williams, a former associate of Floyd and victim of the August 2009 Skating Rink shooting.ย
In 2009, Williams accused Floyd of ordering Ocie Harris, another Mayweather associate, to carry out a shooting that subsequently ended in a BMW carrying Williams and another passenger being struck several times by gun fire outside the skating rink.
While Floyd was never indicted, Harris was, and faces two felony charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Karen Winckler, Mayweatherโs attorney, and Las Vegas Police Department Spokesman Marcus Martin have not commented on the new allegation due to the ongoing investigations.
At this time I call out to all the Mayweather faithful: why do you still support this guy?
It seems like Floyd is suffering from aย god complex.
He thinks heโs entitled to do what he wants when he wants; this behavior is exacerbatedย whenย fans support this โthugโ behavior.ย
Iโve said it before and Iโll say it again, In my opinion, Floyd is in a tail spin, heโs on self destruct.
Mayweather is losing his grip on reality, he canโt handle the fact he is notย unequivocally considered the best P4Pย fighter anymore.ย All of the doubt surrounding his legacy is something he can't control, compound that with his self imposed legal troubles and he lashes out at others whom he feels he can subjugate.
Floyd has spent countless hours on TV and radio the past few years, trying to convince the world that he the best of all time, when he should be in the ring proving it.
At this rate we may never see Mayweather Jr. in the ring again.
