NFL Picks Week 12: 5 Can't Miss Games and Their Winners
So NFL is in full swing, and as we enter into the all coveted jockeying for play-off berths every win counts in clinching divisions.
This is one of the most even seasons in recent memory, and every team has a chance against anyone every single week, except maybe Buffalo.
Here are five games you will not want to miss this week.
New Orleans Vs Dallas
1 of 10
Both these teams have disappointed so far this season. The Cowboys come in with a record of 3-7 and are missing both head coach Wayde Phillips, and quarterback Tony Romo.
The Saints come in featuring a record of 7-3 and just haven't had the season they had last season, but then again no one has.
Both these teams come off victories last week, and the Cowboys are on a two game win streak under interim head-coach Jason Garrett.
The Cowboys always play well on Thanksgiving, so what seems like it should be a slaughtering, should actually be a great game.
Dallas
2 of 10
The Cowboys will win this game.
With their recent momentum, America's team will be looking to somewhat salvage what looks like their hopeless season.
Led by Jon Kitna, expect the Cowboys to win this one by a field goal.
Minnesota Vs Washington
3 of 10
This one sounds like a complete dud of a game, but there is one reason you should sit down and watch this match-up. That reason is to see how the Viking's respond post-Childress.
Was it all the coaching that was causing this disaster of a season that the Vikings are having or is some of this the players not playing hard enough, we should find out this week.
Washington comes in with coaching problems of their own, with Mike Shanahan and Donavon McNabb having their differences, mainly McNabb being out of shape, supposedly.
Minnesota
4 of 10
Although the Vikings come in with a 3-7 record and come in with a change in coaches, expect them to win this game. It's been the trend for teams to get their season turned around after firing their coach, just look at the Cowboys.
I expect nothing less from the Vikings, although if they don't play Favre, they might be better off, as it seems he doesn't want to play anymore.
Tennessee Vs Houston
5 of 10
This should be an epic battle of the AFC South.
The Titans come in distracted by the recent Vince Young drama, but should still be strong as they come in with a record of 5-5. They are however coming off a tough loss to the Washington Redskins but will be trying to shake that off.
Houston on the other hand started off very strong and has fallen off as of late. They are 4-6 and coming off a heart-breaking loss again at the hands of the Jets.
This should be a must win game for both teams, but who will win?
Houston
6 of 10
Houston will get this win. With all the off and on field drama that has been swirling around the Titans as of late, one can't see them being successful in the match-up.
With Houston needing to get their season back on track and try to make the play-offs they will need a win here and will get it in this important division rivalry.
Philadelphia Vs Chicago
7 of 10
This game should be a classic NFC battle to the end. Both teams have been surprising this season and expect them to not disappoint in what could be a thriller.
The Eagles come in with a record of 7-3 and look to continue their winning streak under what some say should be MVP in Michael Vick. Vick's arm which was in doubt coming into the season, sure has put the doubters in aww. His ability to run and throw is tough for any defense to stop.
The Bears come in with a record of 7-3 as well coming off a big win over Miami on Thursday night football last week. Look for the Bears led by Jay Cutler to try to continue winning.
Philadelphia
8 of 10
Philly will win this game because of the X-Factor in Mike Vick. It's so hard to stop him and he has been a man among boys lately, including a 400+ yard game with six touchdowns. If Vick can have a good win at Soldier Field, he will have to be considered for league MVP.
San Diego Vs Indianapolis
9 of 10
This game should be a high flying, non defensive passing affair. It's a battle between two of the top three passing teams in the league and should be one heck of an event.
Being played on a national television audience on Sunday Night this could be a classic.
The Colts come into the game after a tough loss against the Patriots. They have a record of 6-4 and are led by what some argue is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game in Peyton Manning. Although they have Manning, the Colts season has been set-back with all sorts of injuries causing them to improvise quite often.
The Chargers on the other hand, are one of the best teams in the league statistical wise, although their record did not show it at the beginning of the season. They have a record of 5-5 and are looking to keep their win-streak going as they seem to have just now gotten it figured out
San Diego
10 of 10
San Diego will win this match-up and continue on their winning streak. The Colt's offense is just too depleted to win this one and outscore San Diego. Phillip Rivers is having a great season and with the expected return of Gates, and Jackson, it's going to be hard for the Colts to win this one.
With one of the worst pass defense in the league, expect Rivers to pick apart the Colts and continue rolling.
