Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears Post Road Shutouts

There were two road shutouts this weekend in the NFL.  Posting a road shutout is rare in the NFL.  In fact there are some franchises which haven’t done it since the 1970s. 

Previous to this week, the last time the Tampa Bay Buccaneers posted a shutout was back in 2003 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. 

The last time the Chicago Bears posted a shutout was against the New York Jets during their NFC Championship campaign in 2006.
