Possible Nike Pro Combat Uniforms for the Georgia Bulldogs
In 2009 Nike unveiled their new Nike Pro Combat uniforms. They are meant to be lighter, cooler, and just all around better than any other uniform so that players can get the most out of themselves.
In 2009 ten teams were chosen to try out the new stylish Nike Pro Combat uniforms. Nike came up with different idea's commemrating a teams history, the city or state the university is in, or to just look cool.
Since all the teams that have worn the Pro Combat uniforms are teams that already use Nike jerseys it is possible that the history rich Georgia Bulldogs will get to wear the Nike Pro Combat attires for a day.
Throw Back Uniforms Part 1: Wallace Butts Era

One of the recurring themes the Pro Combat uniforms are throw backs. Texas went back to the days of DKR and Ohio State payed homage to their first national championship.
Georgia could do the same with the Wally Butts ere and specifically the 1940's when Frank Sinkwich and Charlie Trippi graced the Georgia backfield on their way to a Rose Bowl win and a consensus national title in 1942 as well as championships in 1946 and 48.
The jerseys could be either black or red with a silver helmet and a pair of silver "britches"
Throw Back Part 2: The Early 1980's

Another possible throw back is the 1980 national championship. The helmets can stay the same but the stripes on the pants and jerseys will change from the current style.
This style would also be good as an away uniform. Georgia could go into Knoxville dressed the way they were back in 1980 when Herschel Walker had his coming out party with the white jerseys and red pants.
The City Of Athens Could Be Incorperated Into The Uniform

Many teams like West Virginia and Virginia Tech have recognized the local industries on their Nike Pro Combat uniforms. West Virginia has the coal miner look and Virginia Tech has the industrial factory style with theirs.
The uniform doesn't have to have anything to do with industry's but just anything that the college town is famous for. For Athens it could be music with the great 80's band REM attending the University of Georgia when they first formed the group.
Use The Bulldogs I The Uniform

I don't mean like how Cruela DeVille would use bulldogs in a jersey. TCU used a horned frog skin print on their helmets and pants and Florida had Gator print on their pants Georgia could do the same with possibly a white dog fur print for helmets and/or the uniform stripes.
Mix It Up and Be Creative

Not everyone had a conventional or even a city inspired uniform. Miami had a nice all white style last year before scrfewing it up in 2010. They used their orange and green "U" logo in their numbers. From the side you could even see the "U" on 5's and 2's.
Boise State used a large bronco logo on their helmets with their grey jersey's. And Florida style last year, although it was really ugly it was still creative.
With Georgia a white helmet could be used, or maybe stylish new age jersey. Just don't anger old faithful dawg fans by messing with their "silver britches".
