Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos Take on the San Diego Chargers

Two teams with their playoff hopes dwindling face off at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.

However, a win for the Chargers puts them within a game of first place, while a win for Denver puts them just two games back.

A loss for the Broncos would put them in an extremely tough position to make the playoffs.

That being said, here are some predictions for tonight's game.

50 percent chance

Tebow almost exclusively ran the Broncos offense in the red zone last week.

The result was two touchdowns; one through the air and one on the ground.

If the Broncos get within the ten yard line, expect to see Tebow, and expect to see him score.

Likelihood Philip Rivers Throws for 300+ Yards

In Rivers' last three games he has thrown for 300 yards twice, and once for 298 yards.

He is on a roll, and I doubt Denver's 19th ranked pass defense will be the team to trip him up.

Fifty-five percent chance.

It's odd that a team will win the turnover battle and lose, but that could happen tonight.

Philip Rivers is prone to throwing a lot of interceptions, while Kyle Orton is not.

The Chargers have the No. 1 ranked defense in the NFL, though, so it could get interesting.

The bigger the lead the Chargers get, the more likely we are to see Orton throw some picks.

Sixty percent chance.

I think this will be a high-scoring affair, with a lot of long touchdowns.

The Chargers seem like a guaranteed 35 or more points, so it depends how much respect you want to give the Broncos offense.

Seventy-five percent chance.

In a game between two dismal teams, the advantage goes to the team with the best athlete on offense.

Expect Philip Rivers to put up another impressive showing against the leagues 26th-ranked defense, and lead the Chargers to victory.

San Diego is 3-1 at home, while the Broncos are 1-3 on the road.
