NFC West Again Proves My Point For a New Conference Playoff System
Today, the teams of the NFC West had a chance to make me eat my words. They had a chance to prove that each of them belonged in the playoffs and that they could compete with the best of the best in the NFL.
They had a chance to prove me wrong.
Instead, each of those teams proved to me they still do not belong. They proved me right to the tune of 120-60. Each NFC West team received a butt kicking from four teams that potentially will be in the playoffs this coming January.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Currently, the Seattle Seahawks lead the division at 5-5, but are currently ninth overall in the conference standings. The Redskins are a paltry tie-breaker ahead of the Seahawks, but regardless, if the playoffs started today, the Seahawks would cost three teams that are decisively better a playoff spot.
The St. Louis Rams were the only team from the NFC West that put up a fight today. They held tough tonight against the Atlanta Falcons and weren’t out of the game until the final five minutes. The Rams are currently ranked 10th in the NFC.
The Cardinals and 49ers both had outside shots of sneaking into the playoffs if they could put some wins together. Both teams are currently 12th and 14th respectively in the conference, but didn't show up today. Kansas City had its way with the Cardinals, and the 49ers were shut out at home for the first time in over 30 years.
Both these teams are only two games out and anything can happen in the last six games of the season.
As of right now, none of the NFC West teams deserve to be in the playoffs and they are the exact reason why the NFL needs to look at a conference playoff system.
