Duncan Keith, Chicago Blackhawks, On Ice In Fantasy NHL's Week 7 Cold Players

Brandon GalvinNov 20, 2010

Although Ilya Kovalchuk deserved to be on the cold list once again, he was given a break this week. If he continues to disappoint, he may end up on the list next week just because he has been such a mighty failure thus far.

Will Canes Trade Nikishin? 🤔

A few years ago, Zetterberg lit up the league as one of the best centers in all of fantasy NHL. He has been very good so far this season, being plus-eight with five goals and 13 assists.

This week, he has hit a low.

With only one goal and seven shots on net, Zetterberg has failed to record anything else of note in the past seven days.

LW

Alexandre Burrows, Vancouver Canucks

Burrows was fantastic last season. He has yet to rekindle that flame since coming back from injury.

He has failed to score or tally an assist this week and actually only has one of each this entire month. He is also minus-one this week.

He does have 10 shots on goal this week, which is encouraging. Hopefully he finds his groove soon.

RW

Patric Hornqvist, Nashville Predators

Hornqvist is in a slump after a solid week last week.

This week he has just one assist with zero goals although he has 10 shots on goal and is plus-one.

It may be wise to bench Hornqvist this week if you have other options available.

D

Duncan Keith, Chicago Blackhawks

Arguably the best overall defenseman in the game, Keith has had an extremely rough week. Although he has taken eight shot on goal and has one assist, Keith has failed to produce elsewhere. He has zero penalty minutes and is minus-one pwith zero goals scored as well. Clearly, owners must keep Keith in their lineups and hope he turns things around quickly.

G

Jaroslav Halak, St. Louis Blues

Halak was previously on fire but has since cooled down. He has given up a total of 13 goals in his last two starts, an absolute abysmal statistic.

For the week he has just a .759 save percentage and zero wins, of course.

Owners may want to sub him out for the upcoming week as he tries to rejuvenate himself.
