The NFL's Unexpected Stars
I was recently looking at NFL stats and realized that there are many unexpected names.
There are five players that are in unexpected spots:

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Philip Rivers: This is the least unexpected of the bunch yet still a little shocking to see him leading the league in passing yards, knowing that he was going to play most of the season without his star wide receiver. I would of expected Peyton Manning or Drew Brees to lead the league in yardage, therefore maybe it is more shocking that Brees is not even in the top three.
Arian Foster: There was some hype around Foster before the season started but one would expect either Chris Johnson or Adrian Peterson to be leading the NFL in rushing yards. Peterson is not too far behind but after Johnson projected that he would hit 2,500 yards, you would expect him to be leading the way. Foster started the season of with a bang and although he hasn’t had another repeat performance like that, he is still running with the best of them.
Kyle Orton: WTF! After losing Brandon Marshall, I would have never expected Orton to be putting up such large yardage numbers. Orton is having an outstanding season, and although his team is not, he is still shining through it all. Many wondered if Orton would be a long term solution for the Broncos after they traded away Jay Cutler, but he seems to be doing just fine. I can understand Rivers being in the top three but never would I have guessed the Orton would be sitting there at number two. I guess as one Brandon leaves another enters…
Brandon Lloyd: I thought this guy had disappeared. I remember hearing about him while he was in San Francisco and Washington but I felt like his name had disappeared the past few seasons. All of a sudden with the exit of Marshall, Lloyd stepped in and is producing at a very high level. The Broncos were missing a number 1 wide receiver threat, and although Lloyd may not be the long term solution, he has definitely filled in for this year.
Terrell Owens: This is just mind boggling! After all the off-season drama with no team wanting Owens and then Chad Ochocinco fighting to get T.O. on the Bengals to create Batman and Robin, this is quite amazing. I guess T.O. has become Batman as he leads the team in receiving yards. But all in all it does not matter because the Bengals are having a terrible year.
This is just an opinion so please…Pardon My Bias
