Video: Watch Shane Mosley at the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito Post-Fight
After the year's biggest fight completed, boxing superstar Shane Mosley was seen with his entourage at the Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito post-fight conference held in the massive concrete corridor of Cowboys Stadium.
I turned to one of Shane's entourage members and asked him if Shane was there to call out Manny once he hits the podium. That entourage member replied, "He should."
I was under the impression that he meant he should call him out, but he will not. However, we never got to see the intended result for Shane being there, because Manny was nowhere to be found at the post-fight conference for several hours after the fight had ended.
After several hours of just waiting, the press and media noticed that Mosley was also waiting for Manny to arrive, so they instead began to bombard him with several questions.
Mosley was asked about everything from what he thought about the fight that just took place to if he will indeed part ways with Golden Boy in order to fight some of the bigger names from Top Rank.
Mosley said that he and Bernard Hopkins are not both under a contract with Golden Boy, but they are partners.
Mosley said that his stock has decreased with Golden Boy, and that was one of the reasons why he was looking to possibly depart.
He also made clear that he has his own promotions company called Sugar Shane Mosley Promotions, and if he fights, it will be under that company.
Shane also said that he has no problems with working with Bob Arum and he even went so far as to say that the biggest fights of his career were all with Top Rank fighters such as Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.
Mosley is one of the names that is being strongly mentioned to be a possible opponent next for Manny Pacquiao.
