NFL Power Rankings Week 11: Rating the League's Best Offenses
Week 10 is in the books and one offense went out with a bang Monday night in DC. See who joins them in the power rankings of the league's best offenses.
Remember, this isn't which team has the best record, those are standings. This isn't which team is on a winning streak or won by 20 points last week, these are power rankings based solely on offensive production in 2010.
Enjoy and feel free to comment.
Among The Worst
1 of 13
These offenses have been offensive all right, but usually to their respective teams and fan base.
32) Carolina Panthers - The Panthers are ranked last in yards per game and points per game. Questions?
31) Arizona Cardinals - Surprisingly the Arizona Cardinals have been pitiful on offense this year, converting on third down only once in a blue moon and turning the ball over every chance they get.
30) Washington Redskins - Say what you want, but the Skins aren't striking fear into any opposing defense, they convert on third down only 21.6% of the time.
29) Buffalo Bills - The Bills did get their first win of the season last week, but it was in no part thanks to their offense. Fitzpatrick has played well, but Buffalo is still -7 in turnover differential.
28) Detroit Lions - Detroit's quarterbacks are dropping like flies and so has their offensive production as of late.
27) Seattle Seahawks - The Seahawks have been rather anemic in past weeks gaining just over 286 yards per game on offense.
26) Chicago Bears - Chicago's offense has been confusing this season, one week their great, and the next week Cutler has four interceptions to the same guy, but still can't convert on third down.
25) San Francisco 49ers - They move the ball and gain yards, but they don't often score on those drives, usually opting to turn the ball over instead.
Quality Offenses

Moving along to offenses which hold their own on Sunday's.
24) Tennessee Titans - While the Titans swap quarterbacks every game it seems, they still have Chris Johnson.
23) St. Louis Rams - Sam Bradford has overachieved and the Rams can play with just about any offense, except the good ones.
22) Cleveland Browns - The Browns have been on a tear over the past few weeks, beating New Orleans, New England, and nearly the New York Jets before a late overtime TD by Santonio Holmes.
21) Jacksonville Jaguars - The Jags turn it over a lot, but they can score just as much.
20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Tampa Bay has been a good story this season, and the offense has been flying under the radar.
19) Pittsburgh Steelers - Roethlisberger is still getting a feel for the O in the Steel City and injuries have slowed them thus far. But when all else fails, Mike Wallace.
18) Minnesota Vikings - The Vikings 3-6 record makes us forget they have Adrian Peterson and Brett Favre, but the -11 turnover differential reminds us they still have Brett Favre.
17) Miami Dolphins - Miami is down to it's third string quarterback Tyler Thigpen, but they still have the Wildcat and a ferocious ground attack.
16) Dallas Cowboys - The Boys have talent on offense no question, but their ability to put it together has limited them.
Almost Elite

These offenses just missed making the top 10.
15) Cincinnati Bengals - Plenty of weapons but they haven't been in sync for more than a few games.
14) Kansas City Chiefs - The Chiefs have been a nice surprise through the season's first 10 weeks, but offensively they could be better.
13) New York Giants - Their offensive statistics would have you believe otherwise, but their schedule and performance on Sunday tell another tale.
12) New York Jets - Sanchez is improving and the Jets seem to do just enough week in and week out on offense to win games.
11) Baltimore Ravens - If Baltimore could put an entire four quarters together offensively, they would certainly be among the top 10 in the league.
10) Oakland Raiders
4 of 13
The Raiders can score with anyone and they have a number of weapons on offense. Darren McFadden is an MVP candidate and Jason Campbell has thrown some gems to rookie receiving stud Jacoby Ford.
9) Green Bay Packers
5 of 13
Whether the Pack is moving the ball down field with short horizontal passes because they have very little of a running game, or scoring on huge plays to Greg Jennings and emerging wide out James Jones, they can make any defense look bad.
8) Denver Broncos
6 of 13
The Broncos have been on both sides of a blowout this season, but last Sunday they were the victor. Kyle Orton has been one of the league's best passers through 10 weeks and Denver's offense certainly isn't to blame for it's poor record.
7) Houston Texans
7 of 13
Arian Foster leads the NFL in rushing yards and Matt Schaub has been launching the ball all over the place for Houston. Unfortunately it hasn't added up to a winning record for the Texans, but they are still only two games back from division leader Indianapolis with seven games left.
6) New Orleans Saints
8 of 13
The Saints offense is back on track after a couple of duds in a row. Drew Brees is finding receivers no matter where they are on the field, and New Orleans should get explosive play maker Reggie Bush back soon.
5) Atlanta Falcons
9 of 13
Atlanta is 7-2 and tied for the league's best record. The defense has been a little shaky at times but the offense has been near unstoppable in the two minute drill. Take a look at what the Falcons did to one of the NFL's best defenses in the final minute of last week's win over the Ravens.
4) New England Patriots
10 of 13
The Patriots are 7-2 and fresh off of putting up 39 points at Heinz Field against a daunting Steelers defense. Brady is fired up, and with the weapons he has to throw to, why not?
The Pats offensive line looks even better with the addition of Logan Mankins, he recently settled a contract dispute with the organization.
3) Indianapolis Colts
11 of 13
Peyton Manning is at it again, making superstars out of undrafted free agent receivers and backs. The Colts are 6-3 and one game out of first place in the AFC even though they have an incredible amount of injuries to key player including veteran tight end Dallas Clark.
Look for Manning and the prolific Colts offense to take them places this season.
2) San Diego Chargers
12 of 13
San Diego's offense has shined like the California sun all season long, but their record has been rather cloudy at 4-5.
Still no team averages more yards per game at over 420 per contest, most of them coming through the air via quarterback Philip Rivers. Rivers has nearly 3,000 yards passing in nine games and is on pace to possibly set records and win the MVP award.
1) Philadelphia Eagles
13 of 13
The Eagles were all smiles after blasting the Redskins Monday Night Football. Michael Vick set records along with the entire Philadelphia team which essentially lead 35-0 after one quarter.
Though I may be accused of being a "prisoner of the moment," the Eagles have consistently been one of the league's top offenses this season, one of only three teams to average over 400 yards of offense per game, and one of only two teams to average over 28 points per game.
For this week at least the Eagles fly high at no. 1.
