Fantasy Football Week 11: Who Is Hot On The Waiver Wire?

Frank FittipaldiNov 15, 2010

Matt Cassel, Kansas City Chiefs

For a guy that has been on the waiver wire all season, Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel had a career game in Week 10 against the Broncos.

This performance came in a blowout loss, but Cassel did throw for 469 yards and four touchdowns. It is difficult to believe that Cassel will repeat this type of game, but after his best game as a pro, he will be one of the hottest players on the waiver wire.

Cassel and the Chiefs have a nice matchup at home against the Cardinals in Week 11.

Shaun Hill, Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions quarterback Shaun Hill is back as a hot pickup off the waiver wire.

Hill returns because of starter Matthew Stafford's season ending injury. Hill has thrown a touchdown in all of his starts and now has 10 on the season.

Hill and the Lions travel to Dallas in Week 11.

Mike Thomas, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaguars' wide receiver Mike Thomas now has a touchdown in two straight games and is coming off a career day in Week 10.

Although his touchdown came on a last-play Hail Mary, Thomas was still having a solid game before that. No. 80 finished with eight catches for 149 yards and a touchdown.

The Jaguars are home against the Browns in Week 11, so add Thomas if he is available.

Brian Hartline, Miami Dolphins

Hartline has now had back-to-back solid games and is worth giving a look off the waiver wire.

Hartline had five catches for 98 yards in Week 10 against the Titans but failed to reach the end zone. The Dolphins face a tougher test in Week 11 as the Chicago Bears travel to Miami.

Hartline is worth adding in deeper leagues.

Anthony Fasano, Miami Dolphins

Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano had his best game of the 2010 season in Week 10.

Fasano caught five passes for 107 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins win over the Titans.

With injuries to some of the top tight ends in the league, Fasano is a nice pickup for Week 11.

Jermaine Gresham, Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham shined in Week 10 despite the loss to the Colts.

Gresham had nine catches for 85 yards and a touchdown and can be another weapon for Carson Palmer and the Bengal offense.

The Bengals are at home against the Bills in Week 11.
