SEC Game Predictions: Larry's Losers in the SEC for Week 12

Howdy folks from a rainy Panama City Beach where our spirits are as low as the barometer. We missed another pick this week that we felt real good about. Houston Nutt has been our downfall all year and Bacardi is ready to hock his bone collection, get a Greyhound bus ticket and show that Nutt just how he feels about him.

At 71 and 12 our average is 84% correct and we're bordering on slipping down to a C any week now with almost no hope of pulling it up to an A by season's end.

So we're going to give every game a double look this week, have the pooch sniff out the possible upsets and give those yet another look. We just need another perfect week to pick up our spirits, and here we go.

Alabama at Georgia State - Bill Curry comes back to a former stomping ground as a coach instead of a commentator, and he brings his Georgia State Panthers prancing along with him to show that they can play with the big boys.

Nick Saban and his pack of pachyderms are gonna spend about five minutes preparing for this team this week and will even be working on the Auburn game during the game this Thursday against this group of football playing pretenders.

For everyone who wanted to see Star Jackson play a whole game, this is your chance. Other than that, there's not much to see here unless you've got a family member who gets little playing time, because Cousin Saban is going to play the water boys in this contest.

Larry's Loser - Ga. State

Arkansas at Mississippi State - Bobby Petrino parks the Pig bus in front Mississippi State's stadium this weekend and is going to going to tell the driver to keep the motor running. He's thinking he can dash in and out leave with a win and get out of town real quick.

But Dan Mullen's Doggies ain't planning on having anyone run in, grab a win and go from their dog pen and they're still sore about last week when Alabama spanked them with a rolled up newspaper.

Bacardi says this is one that cause us to step in a dog pile, but after long and hard thinking and seconds of smart cookies, we both feel good that it won't be a dog day after all.

Larry's Loser - Mississippi State

Auburn vs NCAA - The players may get a week off but the school still frets what the NCAA will do with the college Cam from College Park.

With daddy admitting that he had sought additional benefits from one school prior to his son becoming a War Cam Eagle, the rules are clear.

In a sad turn of events, Auburn will pay a hefty price for taking sloppy seconds from another SEC school and will have a great season go for naught.

Larry's Loser - Auburn (eventually)

Ole Miss at LSU - Houston Nutt brings in his SEC bottom feeding rebels and these aren't Rebels without a cause, but Rebels without a clue, to the Bayou country in hopes of catching a tiger by the tail.

And if Les Miles doesn't have his annual coocoo clock catastophe in this game, his tigers should be able to show these boys what happens when you grab a tiger by the tail.

This game is usually trouble to pick but surely this year LSU can overcome another meltdown, but Bacardi and I both are nervous.

Larry's Loser - Ole Miss

Appalachian State at Florida - Urban Meyers is having the season from his nightmares and the once mighty Gators are looking more like tomorrow's shoes and purses.

And if that weren't bad enough, he's playing the team that took one good team down on their luck, and made them a national laughing stock just a little while ago.

Could this be another one of those games? Bacardi says this group of Gators may be down on their luck, but they ain't a Big Ten pushover and it ain't gonna happen here and I sure agree.

Larry's Loser - Appalachian State

Charleston Southern at Kentucky - Here's another one of those get me to bowl kind of games that SEC teams have to rest up before taking on an SEC team.

Charleston shows up for a beating and bigger paycheck than they're used to.

The only doubt in this game is how much mercy the Kentucky Kitties will show.

Larry's Loser - Cha Cha Southern

Troy at South Carolina - This is the perfect trap game as South Carolina has locked up a spot in the Big Top for a shot at an SEC Championship, beaten a Gator that has been a thorn in their side and now let up and let the Men from Troy march in and steal their thunder.

But the Old Ball Coach knows all this too and he's not about to let his everyone see their cocks out and getting smaller before taking the big stage.

Though Troy is better than your average small school, they just don't have the muscle to pull of the upset in this trap game and the Roosters have the last cluck in this contest.

Tennessee at Vanderbilt - Hang down your head Tom Dooley, but hang your head high Derek Dooley! The Vols finally won an SEC game so now they join Ole Miss and Vandy in the battle of the bottom feeders with one SEC win.

This game could help determine the worst SEC team and the Battle of Tennessee braggin' rights won't mean as much an empty can of baked beans.

In this week's who care game somebody has to lose and since Vanderbilt has so much more practice at it, we'll go ahead and give them the nod.

Well that's it folks, that's a wrap. Bacardi and I need some milk to wash down all those smart cookies we've been eating. We hope all these losers haven't ruined your team's season, but it has been a bumpy ride so far for every SEC team.

Congratulations to South Carolina for making it to the big championship game and for Auburn for laying away a championship appearance on the buy now pay later plan.
