Thoughts:

  • The Nashville Tennessean (click here for the article) is reporting that Kerry Collins is likely to start over Vince Young (ankle injury).  Young is going to be a gametime decision, so you are going to want a replacement in place, but don’t count on him.  With Collins getting in practice time with Randy Moss, it makes sense to give him the start.  His value is similar to what Young’s would have been.
  • Shaun Hill is looking like he will be the starter for the Lions this week, with Matthew Stafford’s injury potentially costing him the rest of the season.  Buffalo has allowed 17 passing TDs versus just one interception, so you have to like Hill’s potential to produce this week.  He’s worth considering in all two-quarterback formats.
  • Does anyone truly trust Chad Pennington?  Well, the positives are that he’s a smart quarterback who is going to protect the ball.  However, Tennessee has allowed just nine passing touchdowns on the season and Miami could easily go to a run-heavy attack.  Consider him a low-end option in all two-quarterback formats until he proves us otherwise.
  • It looks like Colt McCoy will be the Browns starting quarterback once again this week.  Does it matter?  He has 248 yards total over the past two weeks and is only viable as a last resort in two-quarterback formats.

What are your thoughts on these rankings? Whose too high? Whose too low?
