NFL Week 10 Rumors: Randy Moss, Donovan McNabb, Injury Updates and More
NFL Week 10 Rumors are swirling. Here I will dissect all that you need to know about the upcoming NFL games.
There are many looming questions that need some answering. How will Randy Moss fit into the Titans offense? What will Mike Shanahan chose to do with Donovan McNabb. You may also want to know who is injured so you don't accidentally start them on your fantasy team.
So without further ado, here is a look into the NFL.
Randy Moss
1 of 13
With star receiver Kenny Britt out due to injury, Randy Moss will be thrown into the fire right off the bat. He is listed as the starter for this week's match against the Dolphins in Miami.
Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean offered up some knowledge he procured from coach Jeff Fisher. Wyatt writes in a tweet, "Fisher said Monday team hopes to have him in position to contribute vs Miami. But said he can't see him playing 60-70 snaps a game."
In other words, Fisher is trying to assuage his receiver before he gets the chance to get angry. A nice move by the coach. Moss can now go all out on the attempts he does get.
Donovan McNabb

Donovan McNabb has some thoughts on his recent benching. In speaking to ESPN980 he called the remarks of coach Mike Shanahan "hilarious."
He dismissed any truth to the fact that he could be confused by the two minute offense as Shanahan had stated. What I find hilarious is that a tenured coach like Shanahan thought he could get a spark from Rex Grossman. I would rather have a broken down McNabb take the snaps over him any day of the week.
The recent bye week has seemed to calm the matter down for the Redskins. McNabb will be the starter when the Redskins take on the Eagles on Monday Night.
Matthew Stafford's Shoulder
3 of 13
Drew Stanton's stock just rose. ESPN is reporting that Matthew Stafford could be out for the rest of the season.
He re-injured his shoulder this past weekend. It is being described as a grade three separation. The Lions, it would seem, are attempting to bring along Stafford slowly this time around.
With Shaun Hill out due to a broken arm, the Lions will be forced to go with Stanton again as their QB. At 2-6, it may be in the best interest to shut down their franchise player, Stafford.
Ochocinco Steaming
4 of 13
We all knew it would happen eventually. One of the two Pro Bowl Cincinnati Bengals receivers were bound to get frustrated. As soon as one of them got more touches and attention, the other was going to gripe.
It has now happened with Chad Ochocinco. It seems that Chad Ochocinco's needs as a receiver are not being met. While Chad is content to blame the defense and their ability to lock him down. It is only a matter of time before this escalates to Owens vs. Ochocinco.
Dallas Cowboys Lose Website
5 of 13
As many of you have heard, the Dallas Cowboys did not only lose their head coach this week, they lost their website.
It seems that somebody in the Dallas organization forgot to renew on their domain dallascowboys.com. The website went dark just as news came trickling in about Wade Phillips being fired.
The big news here is not the ad revenue that I am sure they missed out on, but the lack of dedication this shows. It seems the problems the Cowboys have on the field translate to the office as well.
Nick Collins Fined
6 of 13Today the NFL continued their pursuit to rid the league of unwarranted helmet to helmet hits. The league passed down a $50,000 fine to Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins.
Collins hit the back of Roy Williams helmet with his own. Williams immediately went to sleep for a few minutes. As safeties and linebackers try to grip with the new crackdown, Collins hit was a textbook example of what not to do.
It was evident that he lowered his head in order to inflict a more damaging hit than was necessary. Now he has 50,000 reason not to do it again.
Bengals Concussed Three Pittsburgh Players
7 of 13
The Steelers vs. Bengals match up was a close one. It took a lot out of both teams. It seems that even though the Steelers got the win, they were dealt blows in the personnel department.
Three Steelers players were dealt concussion on Monday night. Their status is not yet known as all must pass a concussion test before being cleared to play.
Steelers safety Will Allen and running backs Mewelde Moore and Isaac Redman will be evaluated shortly.
Le'Ron McClain Did Spit On Channing Crowder
8 of 13
It seems Channing Crowder did have something to whine about on Sunday. Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano has come out and said he has video evidence of the incident.
A video replay from WFOR-TV in Miami appears to prove that McClain did spit on Crowder. When reached for comment, McClain did his best to explain, "He said stuff to me I didn’t want to hear. I said stuff he didn’t want to hear,”
McClain continued. “Spit came out of my mouth when I said something to the dude, and that was it. It wasn’t on purpose. I’m not that kind of player.”
So first you didn't spit on him, now two days later you did. Interesting.
No Fine for Collie Hit
9 of 13Just as I thought would happen, the NFL has viewed and dismissed any wrong doing in the vicious hit that Austin Collie suffered on Sunday.
You may have seen the video that shows the Colts wide receiver getting lit up by two Eagles defenders. While it was a hard hit, there was no wrongdoing.
He is initially met by Quintin Mikel. The Mikel hit seemed to throw Collie into Kurt Coleman's helmet. Coleman had not time to switch directions. In this case, the NFL got the call correctly by not assessing a fine.
Marcus Spears To Miss Four to Six Weeks
10 of 13
News for the Cowboys have gone from bad to worse. Their already porous defense is about to get a little softer. The Cowboys have announced that starting defensive end Marcus Spears will miss 4-6 weeks with a calf strain.
By the time he returns the Cowboys will be in a tight race for the top pick at next year's draft.
Patriots Make Late Season Pickup
11 of 13
So it is not that big of a pickup, but it is a necessary one. With the New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski out with an injury, the Pats have signed veteran Shayne Graham.
This will be the second team Graham has played for this season. He filled in one game for the New York Giants when Lawrence Tynes was out.
David Diehl May Only Miss One Week
12 of 13
New York Giants tackle David Diehl is optimistic about the injuries he suffered this weekend against the Seahawks.
With a hip injury and hamstring strain to worry about, Deihl told ESPN it is the hamstring that bothers him more. He is confident that he will be out a week and be fit for the Giants game against the Eagles in a couple of weeks.
Tom Cable Has Big Decision
13 of 13
The Raiders may have a bye week but there is plenty of work to be done by head coach Tom Cable. Cable has always maintained that Bruce Gradkowski would be the starter once he returned from injury.
Now he must make a decision as Gradkowski is certain to be healthy for the Raiders game against the Steelers on November 21st. With Jason Campbell playing fantastic football, it will be a tough call.
My feeling is you play the hot hand. The Raiders have turned into a formidable team under Campbell.
