Fantasy Football Week 10 Rankings: Top 25 Quarterbacks
Eric StashinNov 9, 2010
Week 10 does not appear to be an easy week for quarterbacks after you get past the first six or seven names on this list. Either poor matchups or uncertainty having over many of the options, but fantasy owners have few options. Who should we turn to?

Thoughts:
- In his first matchup with the Cowboys, Eli Manning threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns. Yes, he also had three interceptions, but after the torching he gave the Seahawks on the road and the miserable state of the Cowboys, you have to like the prospects of a big game. Over his last four games he’s thrown 12 TDs and only once has fewer then 290 yards.
- It didn’t take long for Michael Vick to rediscover his form, now did it? In his first game back after missing three games (and the majority of a fourth) he threw for 218 yards and a TD while running for 74 yards and a touchdown. With a Redskins defense that is among the worst in the league against the pass and DeSean Jackson back in the mix, it’s hard to argue against him.
- Joe Flacco has not been the breakout performer we had all hoped for, but he certainly has been putting things together of late. In his last three games he has seven touchdowns and no interceptions, while throwing for at least 250 yards. This week he draws an Atlanta defense allowing over 250 passing yards per game, so the streak certainly can continue.
- David Garrard may have a great matchup and is coming off a thrashing of the Cowboys (260 yards and four TDs), but does that mean we should trust him? I still have to consider him, at best, a low-end QB1.
- While Ryan Fitzpatrick may have thrown two interceptions in Week 9, he threw for 299 yards against the Chicago Bears. He’s thrown 13 TDs vs. seven INTs this season and gets to face a Lions defense that allowed over 300 yards to Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets.
- Speaking of Sanchez, he proved he could throw the ball in Week 9, but while he does have a favorable matchup this is still an offense based around the run. That alone helps to downgrade him to an upper-level QB2 until he can do it on a consistent basis.
- Is Matthew Stafford set to miss time again with a shoulder injury? Time will tell, but until we know his health I have to downgrade him in the rankings.
- Brett Favre erupted in Week 9, but can he do it on the road? When he proves that, he has the potential to return to being a QB1.
- Will Matt Hasselbeck return as the Seahawks starter? It would appear likely, though that still doesn’t make him a great option.
What are your thoughts on these rankings? Who's too high? Who's too low?
