November 13th will be the date of the PACQUIAO/MARGARITO

showdown in the Arlington, Texas COWBOYS STADIUM.

As we lick our chops for this main-event showdown,

the under-card for this super-slug-fest is already shaping up.

                                                                 HERE'S ONE FOR YOU:

    "Brandon Rios 25-0-1 (18)  vs  Omri Lowther 14-2-0 (10)

10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE UNDER-CARD FIGHTERS"

                                           Ricky Ray Taylor

    (1) BRANDON RIOS was a U.S. National Amateur Champion in '04 & earned a spot as an alternate on the '04 U.S. Olympic Team.

    (2) OMRI LOWTHER had to find a last minute replacement to square up against him in his last fight.    Evidently his scheduled opponent (EDNER CHERRY), mysteriously pulled out of the fight days before their ESPN2 headlined bout.  {In turn, Lowther lost a UD to 17-1 HENRY LUNDI}.

    (3) BRANDON RIOS' last fight was a sloppy DQ victory over then undefeated ANTHONY PETERSON.

    (4) OMRI LOWTHER began his career with 9 straight victories, 7 knockouts.

    (5) BRANDON RIOS' amateur record was an astounding 230-35.

    (6) OMRI LOWTHER & BRANDON RIOS are each replacements for the injured KELLY PAVLIK who was supposed to fight the co-main event fight on this card.

    (7) OMRI LOWTHER recently hooked up with CHRIS JOHNSON - who was a trainer he admired from afar since he was an amateur.

    (8) BRANDON RIOS won the vacant NABF Lightweight Title by KO'ing NYC's JORGE TERON in the 3rd round last February

    (9) BRANDON RIOS signed a contract with TOP RANK, October '09.

    (10) OMRI LOWTHER has never fought in TEXAS while BRANDON RIOS has yet to lose in TEXAS.  In doing so Rios is 3-0, 3 ko's.
