English Premier League Sunday Match Previews: Nov 7, 2010
Arsenal vs Newcastle
Arsenal are expecting to see the return of captain Cesc Fabregas after recovering from a hamstring injury and Jack Wilshire is back after his suspension. Arsenal may have slipped up midweek and Wenger may have put it down to complacency, but the fact is that they just didn’t look quite together, and it is understandable when you consider the fact that they are missing several key players.
The return of Fabregas should make a big difference to the way which Arsenal play this match and they by all rights should win this one, considering that their home form is pretty good. Arsenal have won their last three home matches and Newcastle shouldn't put up too much of a fight.
There are no new injury concerns for Newcastle although it’s not as if they don’t have enough of them already. Whilst they are not suffering quite as much as their opposition when it comes to injuries they have enough of them to cause some severe issues particularly going forward.
"The Magpies" have won just one of their last 15 Premiership meetings with Arsenal and now they are in a less likely position to actually pose a threat to the home side this time round.
West Brom vs Manchester City
Ibanez is back playing for West Brom after his appeal against his red card was successful, the defender was unfairly sent off in their match against Blackpool. Jara, on the other hand, does begin his three match ban. Morrison and Odemwingie could both feature after returning from injuries.
In terms of players returning, West Brom are doing pretty well and they are going to need all hands on deck if they are going to have any chance of beating Manchester City or even holding them to a draw, considering the massive gulf in class between the two sides.

At home, the "Baggies" have had pretty good fortunes against City, winning their last three home matches. Whether this continues after the away side's massive investments in players remains to be seen.
City should see the return of Tevez who has coming back to training after recovering from his thigh problem. City are in danger of racking up three successive defeats which is made worse by the fact they were hoping to challenge for the title this season.
City are not a bad side, they just struggle with coming back into the game once they are on the back foot, they have lost every game where they have conceded the opening goal so far this season.
Liverpool vs Chelsea
Joe Cole will not feature against his former club due to a hamstring complaint. Kuyt and Babbel are both doubtful although the difference that even having a fully fit side might make in this match is debatable. Liverpool have finally clawed themselves out of the relegation zone and are stumbling round mid table.
This is great news for the side who were really struggling to get started this season. A win against Chelsea would work wonders for restoring the sides wounded pride and damaged confidence, not to mention placing them in a position in the league to which they would be more accustomed.
Generally speaking, Liverpool do quite well at home against Chelsea, last season was the first time they lost to them at Anfield in four attempts.
Essien is doubtful due a toe injury and Bosingwa is also unlikely to make an appearance due to illness, flu seems to be a pretty common concern amongst Premiership players this week, with many teams losing parts of their first eleven due to similar problems. When you compare the way in which these two teams have been playing this season it seems that the only logical result would be a Chelsea victory.
