Les Miles Gets Big Win: Why is It Still Hard to Take Him Seriously?

It truly was a great game of football. Both sides played very well and and it was a good, hard-fought victory for the Tigers!

Why do I still find it hard to take Les Miles seriously as a coach? Really? 

The guy has a 59-16 record at LSU and a national championship with the school, why does he still come off as rather silly?

Oh, wait...Maybe because it's all the crazy stuff he does... 

Even after his huge victory over Alabama Saturday afternoon, he continued to fuel the notion that he's not all-together up there.

The saddest part is, you can't really knock the guy, he's winning and that's what matters most! Love him or hate him, here's a look at some of the Mad Hatter's zaniest moments at LSU!

The Man Eats Grass

Wait...what did he just do? Did he drop some gum? Find a piece of candy? No. It's exactly what you think it is. Lucky Les bent over, plucked himself a nice piece of grass and ate it. 

This particular video came from yesterday's upset of No. 6 Alabama. 

It gets funnier when he justifies this act to a reporter after the game: 

“I have a little tradition that lets me know that I’m part of the field and part of the game. I’ll tell you one thing. The grass at Tiger Stadium tastes better.”

He Doesn't Stop at Grass

Is it just me, or does he seem like a toddler? This guy has an NCAA national championship...

I don't think he watches film either.

Sometimes it's like he doesn't even know the rules of the game...

Now, I'm not sure if he actually lied in that press conference. He may not even know which sport he's coaching in!

Les is a crazy guy. He has a problem with eating random objects, he doesn't read books and he's not the most informed individual when it comes to the actual rules of football; but I will say this about the Mad Hatter: He wins games. 

You can call him insane or you can call him an idiot, but you can't call him a loser!
