Michigan Wolverines Friday: Needs a Win on Saturday
Big House BobNov 5, 2010
The University of Michigan injury report came out last night and there were a couple of newsworthy items:
- Mike Martin is probable at 75 percent
- Fitz Toussaint is outย again
- Perryย Dorrestein and Je'Ron Stokes are Questionable (50 percent) withย Knee issues
The Michigan defense really needs Mike Martin to play to his ability if Michigan is to get a win on Saturday.
There was a rumor floating around that Craig Roh was contemplating a transfer.ย TomVH comes in to set the facts straightโRoh just wanted to play more DE then LB,ย which he has been doing this week in practice.ย Funny, I suggested that yesterday.

Here's a look at what's been happening in Michigan this week
- Both Wisconsin's and Ohio State's games will be noon starts.
- Here is the press conference transcript from Michigan's response to the NCAA yesterday.
- David Brandon went on the radio this morning. If you're interested in listening, click here. The best comment was that he was waitingย for an apology from some people in the media for the mistakes they made.
- TomVH also cleared up any rumors about Dee Hart being shaky with his commitment to Michigan. His mom said that Dee will be at U of M in January. YES!
- Maybe one of the most important recruits left from Michigan's board is 2009 USC commit, Byron Moore, who decided not to stick it out with the Trojans after their NCAA beat down. He played for a JUCO this year and has now opened up his recruitment. Byron was the sixth ranked safety in the 2009 class and has a year of playing under his beltโtalk about guaranteed playing time. Byron played at the same high school as Sean Parker. Michigan is not on his visitor list yet.
- Malcolm Crockett is a soft verbal toย Cincinnati and is visiting the Big House this weekend. Malcolm is a three-star RB who plays corner as well. My guess is Michigan wants him as a corner.
- Blake Countess, a four-star DB from Maryland, is also getting a lot of attention from Michigan right now. No offer was made yet, but one may be coming soon.
