CFL Teams Announce Nominees for 2010 Player Awards

The Canadian Football League announced the names of the team nominees for the 2010 Gibson's Finest CFL Player Awards.

During the first ballot, the head coach of each CFL club along with the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) representatives from the city where the club is situated submit their votes in six categories. The voters selected the player who they believed best represented each award through on-field performance.

The nominees for the East and West for the Gibson's Finest CFL Player Awards will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 11.

The league-wide winners are announced on Nov. 25 during Grey Cup week during the awards ceremony in Edmonton, Alberta.

Below are the team nominees, listed under their respective football clubs.
