Minnesota Vikings: Dear Mr. Wilf, How Much Longer Must We Endure Brad Childress?
Maybe it's just because Minnesota fans have been given a taste of the NFC title game highs, or maybe it's because, quite simply, Brad Childress doesn't know how to coach a professional football team in the NFL.
The fact remains that we stand at the cusp of Week 9 and the Vikings sit at a 2-5 record, and Moss-less now after his recent release.
My perspective to this recent release of wide receiver Randy Moss comes from a point of view of watching Childress' complete idiosyncrasies of being a head coach.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's take the following facts into consideration over Childress' tenure of the Vikings:
Positive: He has had an improving record since becoming head coach in 2006 (8-8, 10-6, 12-4).
Negative: That streak will end this year, as the Vikings already have more losses then all of last season.
Positive: He has built a talented roster from the ground up through free agency and good drafting.
Negative: Most of that talented roster are a stone's throw from retirement.
Positive: He brought in a fan favorite in former Viking-great WR Randy Moss.
Negative: He released said Moss after four games, costing the Vikings their 2011 third-round pick, thus alienating the Viking fanbase.
Negative: He commands no respect from QB Brett Favre, and in turn, lets Favre do what he wants.
Negative: WR Percy Harvin publicly shares his lack of confidence in Childress.
In short, the Vikings fan base has lost confidence in him, the Vikings locker room has lost confidence in him and Leslie Frazier is sitting in the wings.
My question is, why wait till January and waste all the money invested in the team?
