Jamaal Charles in Charge As Kansas City Chiefs Beat Buffalo Bills in OT Thriller
The Kansas City Chiefs came into their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday with one main agenda on offense: get the ball to their duo of feature running backs, Thomas Jones and Jamaal Charles.
To say that this plan paid off is a large understatement. The combo of Jones and Charles racked up 254 yards on the ground and kept the Buffalo defense on the field for a long time during the game.
However, Charles had the big game, picking up 177 rushing yards and 61 receiving yards.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He made the Bills defense look silly time and time again, as he sliced through the middle of it and often dashed away from defenders all afternoon.
When the game was over, Charles had picked up 238 all-purpose yards while turning in easily one of his best games as a pro in his short three-year career.
Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they were not able to score much against the Buffalo defense, as they were stymied at times by the Bills and were unable to convert on a crucial fourth down in the first half.
Quarterback Matt Cassel was out of sync with his receivers for much of the game until overtime, and then the Chiefs offense really start to gel together better.
Charles had picked up multiple first downs in the overtime period and rookie TE Tony Moeaki came alive with two big catches in the extra frame, finishing his day with three catches for 45 yards.
After the teams traded missed field goals, Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop finally put through a 35-yarder to end one of the most thrilling games of the Chiefs' season.
Although it was a defensive struggle for most of the game, the Chiefs running game combined with their bend but don't break defense was the difference.
It was also another brutal reminder that anything can happen on any given Sunday in the NFL. The Bills came into Arrowhead at 0-6 as the only winless NFL team, and they fought for the entire 75 minutes today.
However, in the end, it was Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs taking charge for the exciting 13-10 victory.
