The Captain is Back: Edge is Setting Up an Opportunity for Christian's Comeback

What up bleachers? It has been a while since I last wrote anything about Christian and I know this article might, better yet, will get me some "just give it up" and "for the millionth time he is not going to win it" comments, the way Smackdown has been going the last few shows I have one thing to say...again.

With the way things are going, Christian will have the world title.

Okay, now on to the title. Edge has currently become the new No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title.

Now that Undertaker is out for a while, the World title can be defended against someone who can hold it for a while, not that Taker is not capable, but he is getting old. 

Now, there are five months until Wrestlemania. This should be enough time for Christian to return to health. Edge has more than enough time to get the belt.

If he gets the world title at Survivor Series and can retain it until Wrestlemania or after, then a feud with Christian would be great (even Vince can't turn down a chance to make money).

I found a video on YouTube that is a perfect example on how I believe Christian will return.

So pretty much the only way I can see Christian ever having a shot at the belt is if Edge has it upon his return.

With the momentum that Edge has, hopefully he can continue throughout Survivor Series and win the belt.
