Carmelo Anthony is ready for change. He is ready to move on from Denver and go elsewhere. At first this was speculation but he has pretty much made it clear.

Despite the best intentions of head coach George Karl, Nuggets president Josh Kroenke and new vice president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri, Anthony seems to be determined to be in another uniform sooner rather than later.

Anthony was quoted several places as saying "”It ain’t got nothing to do with the new GM, Josh, the players. For me, I feel it’s a time for change."

That being the case, the number of teams that he might end up with is very limited. Let's go from the long shots to the sure shots.

10. Minnesota Timberwolves

DALLAS - FEBRUARY 12: Kevin Love #42 of the Sophomore team goes up for a shot against the Rookie team during the first half of the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam part of 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend at American Airlines Center on February 12, 2010 in

Possible Players Involved: Minnesota has come up in the Anthony trade rumors, but I can't see why. Maybe it would just involve draft picks, because the only players Denver would want back, (Kevin Love, Michael Beasley) are the only guys Anthony would want to play with.

Chances of the Trade Happening: None. I don't think Anthony would have faith in that front office to build a winner.

9. Oklahoma City Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY - APRIL 30: Jeff Green #22 of the Oklahoma City Thunder flies to the basket against the Los Angeles Lakers during Game Six of the Western Conference Quarterfinals of the 2010 NBA Playoffs on April 30, 2010 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City

Possible Players Involved: This is total speculation, but the OKC Thunder have a lot of young guys with a lot of upside. Jeff Green needs a new contract. Instead of staying the course with the young guys they could get better if they maybe sent Green and Serge Ibaka and maybe a third player.

Chances of the Trade Happening: Half court shot, with a blind fold. But it could work really well for both teams. As long as the Denver doesn't ask for Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook.

8. Golden State Warriors

Possible Playoffs Involved: There was only one player that the Nuggets mentioned in a possible trade rumor with the Warriors. Denver would want young sharp shooter Stephen Curry.

Chances of the Trade Happening: As of now there is little chance, as the Warriors aren't interested in parting ways with Curry, but as the season goes along, who knows?

7. Los Angeles Lakers

LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 17: Andrew Bynum #17 of the Los Angeles Lakers rebounds the ball in Game Seven of the 2010 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics at Staples Center on June 17, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowled

The Possible Players Involved: Andrew Bynum for Carmelo Anthony trade? Some have speculated that this trade could work for both teams, but I don't see Denver remotely being interested in it.

There is no evidence that Bynum could ever stay healthy for any long period of time.

Chances of the Trade Happening: Long Shot. As in half court shot.

6. Sacramento Kings

DALLAS - FEBRUARY 12: Omri Casspi #18 of the Rookie team shoots against Marc Gasol #33 of the Sophomore team during the first half of the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam part of 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend at American Airlines Center on February 12,

Possible Players Involved: Anyone, repeat anyone on the roster not named Tyreke Evans or DeMarcus Cousins. Because if those two were traded why would 'Melo want to go there. So the list includes guys like fan favorites Carl Landry, Omri Casspi, and Samuel Dalembert. Maybe Denver would take a five for one deal.

Chances of the Trade Happening: No team will trade for Carmelo unless he signs an extension. Could he be happy in Sacramento? Chris Webber was.

5. Philadelphia 76ers

Possible Players Involved: Andre Iguodala and possibly draft picks, or maybe Philly can dump Elton Brand on Denver since Kenyon Martin is getting older.

Chances of the Trade Happening: Small, but possible. The word is Denver doesn't hang up when Philly calls.

4. Los Angeles Clippers

Possible Players Involved: For some reason the Clippers haven't been as involved as other teams in trade talks, but they make the most sense. They have enough draft picks and young players to fulfill whatever Denver is looking for and Anthony and his family would be in LA. He would most likely have a beast in the making in Blake Griffin to play with and Eric Gordon would also be a plus.

Chances of the Trade Happening: Curiously enough, not that high, as Denver hasn't shown much interest in pursuing the Clippers angle or maybe it's the Clippers' Owner giving off negative vibes.

3. New York Knicks

8 of 10

NEW YORK - DECEMBER 07: Eddy Curry #34 of the New York Knicks sits with teammate Nate Robinson #2 on the bench during NBA action against the Portland Trail Blazers at Madison Square Garden on December 7, 2009 in New York, New York. NOTE TO USER: User exp

Possible Players Involved: Wow, who would you want on that roster? And there are no draft picks available. But Carmelo would like to go there, so maybe a third team could get involved. We know Amare Stoudemire would love to play with Anthony and we are pretty sure Danillo Gallinari is close to untouchable. We know they would love to move Eddy Curry. Other than those facts, we don't know much else.

Chances of the Trade Happening: Without a third team I don't see the Knicks having the necessary parts.

2. New Jersey Nets

9 of 10

NEW YORK - JUNE 24: Derrick Favors of Georgia State stands with NBA Commisioner David Stern after being drafted third overall by the New Jersey Nets at Madison Square Garden on June 24, 2010 in New York City. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges an
    Al Bello/Getty Images

Possible Players Involved: Names such as Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy and Kris Humphries have come up. Which would leave Brook Lopez and Devin Harris for Anthony to team up with.

Chances of the Trade Happening: Some say it is the most likely of all of the scenarios.

1. Chicago Bulls

10 of 10

CHICAGO - APRIL 25: Luol Deng #9 of the Chicago Bulls goes up for shot between LeBron James #23 (L) and Anthony Parker #18 of the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals during the 2010 NBA Playoffs at the United Center on
    Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images

Possible Players Involved: Okay this one has been the closest of all of them. Luol Deng is definitely included and most say Taj Gibson would head to Denver as well, but there is a third name that has been killing the deal...

Chances of the Trade Happening: The ongoing rumor is this trade can happen if the Bulls let go of Joakim Noah and so far the answer to that has been no.
