Elliott Sadler's Wife, Amanda Sadler: Inside a Teacher and WAG's Life

Amanda Prince Sadler is the wife of Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 19 Hunts Pizza Ford.  Sadler is rideless for the 2011 season but is currently a driver for Richard Petty Motorsports.

Education

Amanda graduated from Greensville County High School in Emporia in 2001.  

After high school, she attended Longwood University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education.  She graduated from the school magna cum laude in May 2005 before attending Virginia Tech, where she received her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  

She graduated summa cum laude in 2006 from VT.   She currently teaches fourth grade and is also a swimming instructor at the local YMCA.

Elliott

The Princes and Sadlers are extremely close.  Elliott and Amanda grew up together and were re-acquainted when Elliott came home to watch his family play softball.  They began dating in 2006 and were married on January 17, 2009.

In early 2007, Elliot told NASCAR.com how he felt about his then girlfriend.

"Racing is still No. 1 to me and it's still very important, but now I have someone to share that with...She's just an amazing person. I'm not the most optimistic person in the world—the glass has always been half-empty for me—but for some reason it's half-full right now and I have her to thank for that. Things have been on an upswing and things have been a lot of fun. In fact, I didn't think life could be this much fun and man, it's been a blast."

Family

The Sadlers have one child, a little boy named Wyatt Herman Fritts, named after multiple family members.

Wyatt was born on February 16, 2010 and had a rough start at life, having to go through surgery shortly after his birth, but is a healthy, growing baby boy now.

Rumors

Multiple rumors have flown around about the Sadlers’ marriage, but despite all this, the couple is still going strong.  With a child and multiple hunting dogs, they have their own little family to focus on in addition to the on-track activities.
