2011 NFL Draft: Top 50 Eligible Underclassmen

It remains to be seen how the potential NFL lockout will affect the 2011 Draft.

If there’s no NFL season next year, you could see an abundance of the top eligible underclassmen return to college for another season in lieu of sitting out a year.

This is a very skilled group of juniors with a lot of elite talent and the number of redshirt sophomores that could come out early is much higher than normal.

With a relatively weak senior class depleted by all the early departures last year, the strength of the 2011 NFL Draft will most certainly depend on how many of the top underclassmen decide to declare.

There are some players such as LSU’s Patrick Peterson, Georgia’s A.J. Green and Alabama’s Mark Ingram who seem to be locked in as sure fire first rounders, but you also have a lot of other players whose stock will rise and fall as the evaluation process continues.

Let’s take a look at 50 top underclassmen prospects who could think about testing the NFL waters early.
